Why does he not include his overhead as a cost to the printing of the t shirts ? Cost of the business is not just the transfer & t shirts. Rent, insurance, equipment, shipping, software, and so much more.
Yoooo Rich.. THANK YOU.. I just sold my first T-Shirt today man.. I got 6 listed on Ebay, 5 different sizes 10 different colors BOOM after a week.. (my first 10 bucks) 👍👍👍 My happiness did't last long 🤣🤣🤣 somehow after updating my printer, it messed up my driver and my printer stoped half way, i tryed everything.. uninstall printer driver then reinstall, then uninstal Acrorip reinstall, Windows updates back and forth after 9 hours without eating coffee nothing just sheet after sheet after sheet burning money like crazy (19 sheets) after uninstalling everytrhing but acrorip it worked. MAN.. WHAT A M....F.... DAY BRO I didnt make money on that one but i learned a huge lesson and i sold my first Shirt. Once again THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING 👍👍👍
This is a great, simple video to show how it can be done. Worth spending a bit of time to find good transfer companies and then sourcing good value products, bring them together and then all you need is the clients artwork. So simple but effective.
This is Great type of content as usual Rich , your follower here and on the Gram for many years . glad you showed us this side, someone who really making it and being honest about the numbers. 1 love from Ireland , keep bringing it .
Wow this is incredibly informative and straight to the point. I love your videos. They are solid! What is a recommended heat press under $700 for a startup? I like the heat press he is using but I dont have $8000 to spare
This might be a silly question (I just started doing research on this process), but the paper he is heat transferring with, why didnt he have to cut around the letters? Videos I've been watching, people are weeding out around the letters or theres some sort of tedious process to get lettering onto a shirt. I want to heat transfer white letters and words onto hoodies but the weeding or cutting around the words are what is making me hesitant
Thanks bro what is Tony's UA-cam channel. Keep up these videos. Trying to increase my knowledge on starting my own Tshirt business and your vids help out allot. Be blessed brother
Does he ever get TKO calling about copyright when it comes to the Greek organizations? Whenever I try to order through transfer Express for transfers For my nba bootleg tees they cancel it. SupaColor will send an email about copyright but send the transfers anyway lol
Hi first x watching ok love this way of making money 😂 but I've noticed you use all the same size transfer and how much are they n how many we get lol and do they have their own design I know it's a lot but was curious thank you for a great video ❤
Brother, I love your videos, I learn so much. I would like to know your recommendation for a bank to use and payment methods for a small out of home business. I have been looking on Novo and Square card reader, what do you think of them?
Question: As you go through the costs i noticed the "set-up cost"" what does that incline? I'm assuming its electric bla bla bla right? Also, I'm contemplating starting my own t-shirt business as a side hustle but the thing is I live in Cyprus (Europe) and unfortunately TKO DO NOT ship outside the US/Canada (Already contacted them). Any ideas? Much appreciate any advise and great work on the channel!
Setup cost is pretty much what you see in this video: ua-cam.com/video/Lm0UB_WFaik/v-deo.html Setting up the artwork for the screen, burning the screen, prepping the inks, etc. Since the process is the same as screen printing, it's the same setup cost a screen printer charges for printing directly on a t-shirt.
Wow this is amazing man. When Ur selling t-shirts online, do U charge the customer shipping or U it's free shipping but increase tshirt price to include shipping? Love Ur work man 👍💪
I'm the guy with the bullshit $250 heat press . On first wash it's already cracking! Go figure. I gave up, but will save for a better one and get back on the grind
Rich and Tony, great stuff! Thanks for breakin it all down. One question. How are you getting 1-color transfers for $.15? When I look at the gang pricing on TKO it looks like the Greek transfer in the video would be $1.31 each. (2 transfers on a 12x18 sheet). Please explain. Thanks!
My struggle is I was told 613 originals have better transfers. Also, I ordered samples from TKO in maybe April and never received them. Then someone reached out to me last week asking how I like them. Gabe from there is dope, but that rubbed me the wrong way.
Honestly, 613 single and 2,3 color transfers are the same to me, but TKO's full color is definitely better than 613's. The reachout without knowing that you didn't receive it was probably automated. Did you let them know?
@@HustleNinjas Yeah, I let them know on a separate email, but being a struggling small business I can't afford to not receive my transfers if I order. I guess I'm overthinking it.
I had the same problem with TKO. Took 3 months to send 1 sample pack lol…. They said they proceed with the most current order and prioritize customer orders first. However, I think they should have sample orders packed already. It’s simple just a packet. They would of never sent me a sample pack if I had never reached out to them.
But, the caveat is that vinyl transfers do not last nearly as long as screen prints, and vinyl transfers are more suited for short runs, vs screen prints for the longer runs of 500 items or more.
bro, im now checking in udemy courses like how to start a brand or how to start a t-shirt business full course, but all of `em is totally SHT, maybe you are thinking to make your own course ?
very nice content Rich...can you ask Tony next time how he doing print on demand for one t-shirt full color? with set up fee the math dont add up with TKO transfers??
You're still paying up front cost with transfers until you break even with selling them. You're doing on demand pressing which saves you from spending money on pre-printed inventory of blanks, this way the blanks can be versatile depending on the design that you end up selling.
He is not doing one off tshirts in that sense. He orders the transfers in bulk and then sells them and presses 1 at a time as the order comes in. Thats what the $2000 storage shelf is holding. Transfers ready to press as the orders come in.
Geo knight or Stahls is solid, but if you're just starting, anything that you can afford. Here's a good video for you: ua-cam.com/video/cKIl2I6ls1w/v-deo.html
And is you label already on them if so how to do it do might be dumb question was wondering if you but it on individually or buy it with them printed on… and how do you use pictures without copywrite
You can have a screen printer print all your labels if you want to have your own labels, or you can use the same route of transfers and use a hat press: ua-cam.com/video/BuleStHsPe4/v-deo.html You use pictures you have the license to use

I’m not sure, I know Tony has a lot of the license and/or permissions, so he would just send that over when that’s the case
just tell them your selling for personal preferences or swapmeets

Real good video. I have one question. What heat press are you using in this video?
Hotronix dual air fusion:

Instant like and sub. Excellent content especially with the #'s. Thank you for sharing this wealth of knowledge!
i am learning much from your channel. Thanks.
Thanks for this, was so entertaining and informative!
Did he mention who he uses for heat transfers?? Is it FM Expressions?
Starting out would you prefer white toner printer or ordering the pre-printed transfers?
Can you recommend chenille and sequin patch transfer manufacturers?

Good day Rich Khun..
I'd like to know if TKO ship to South Africa??
When getting transfers from like TKO - how do you get your specific design to TKO to make into a transfer?
Upload it on their website, this video might be more helpful in terms of ordering - ua-cam.com/video/HIiORD9t420/v-deo.html
