- Reverend Calvin O. Butts, III speaks with President Barack Obama on stage, celebrating the importance of the groundbreaking for the Smithsonian's newest museum, the National Museum of African American History and Culture. The museum, which will be located near the Washington Monument on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., is expected to be open to the public in late 2015.
Thats my home Pastor from Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem. He is a phenomenal and inspirational speaker. So proud of him and the Obamas!
I miss Rev. Butts so much but these videos are making it bearable. Dr. Butts, your legacy will continue!
Inspiration talks on the pride and positive contributions of African American to the development of modern America. Our children should be constantly be reminded of these feats.

This is an excellent oratory in the traditional classic sense, practiced by the greats like: Frederick Douglass, Booker Washington, Martin King and Adam Clayton Powell. The African American community needs to bring back the Oratory Contests of yesterday!!!!!

I worked on the foundation of this project. They used tons of toxic chemicals for use in the slurry wall, effected the health of me, and other guys who worked there.
