Great syllable sounds, but it's also just really comforting to hear the tone in the way you speak to each other. It's so amazing how ASMR triggers are soooooo different from person to person. I cannot handle the unintelligible whispering, if I can't hear what they are saying, I strain to hear it, which is pretty much the opposite of relaxing.
My hands hurt from lupus and osteoarthritis and aren’t so pretty anymore. I don’t let anyone touch my hands except my rheumatologist but I would let you. I like to pretend my hands are as flawless as yours and Olga’s. It’s like the bald men watching your hair videos. It’s so comforting. Thank you.

My hands also have Osteoarthritis due to Ankylosing Spondolitis. I'm terrified of someone grabing my fingers. I can have hands and the heel part of my thumb massaged... but only the softest tracing can be done on my fingers... sp yes, I understand your fear and pain... ❤

Man this is such a throwback to old school ASMR like when Leta was super popular. Before ASMR was even a term and it was called the "whisper community." I was in high school and would spend hours searching for the perfect video to help me fall asleep. I was sleeping on a couch at the time and not in an actual bed so it was tough for me some nights. I am so thankful and grateful to content creators like Maria who really pioneered ASMR and made it what it is today. So amazing. 🥰

Yes! Let's was my introduction into this world. I was looking for comfortable massage to help my fiance as he was undergoing treatments for leukemia. Lita was one of the first I found. I realized that as I watched her videos, I was getting relaxed and I was hooked! This community has come a long way! A lot of credit to Masha as one of the leading innovators of this genre.
Lol I’m old enough to remember a channel on directTV satellite called the oasis channel. They’d have a show on at 7pm all about different resorts with spas and I would watch every night to see the spa treatments… this is at least five years before UA-cam existed. I literally thought I was the only person to get tingles from watching those segments lol

Some added appreciation: I started looking at your videos 8 years ago after my mother died. She lived with me and my husband during the last few months of her life, and I found myself listening for her to yell or move around the house even after she had passed. I had always enjoyed whispering sounds and paper turning, and your videos gave me some much needed peace and sleep during the grieving process. Since then, my life has been full of joy and sorrow. I have had two children (I was pregnant with my daughter the same time you were pregnant with yours) who bring immense joy, and rambunctiousness! I have also lost both my father and mother-in-law to cancer, both during the pandemic, which added more stress to an already heartbreaking. situation. My husband is Brazilian, so we are bit on our own, as my family lives a few hours away, and his family is still in Brazil. This is all background to the appreciation I have for your work. When I am stressed or need some kind of peaceful distraction, I have your videos and voice. I have thought about writing letters, or sending a gift basket from Nashville, for years. And I still may, but until then, I wanted to truly say thank you for continuing to create content that is peaceful and focused on helping the viewers feel valued. From the first videos to this latest one, your work is influential in more ways than you know.

Какое чудесное видео! Я в восторге! На протяжении всего видео у меня были волны приятного покалывания в затылке, которыми я наслаждалась. Как бы я хотела себе такой массаж в исполнении Маши:) И английский ничуть не мешает даже несмотря на то, что я ничего не понимаю)) Магический голос. А эти плавные движения вызывают у меня приятный транс. Я от этого видео прям как змейка под дудочкой))
То, что АСМР-эффект существует, я обнаружила еще в детстве. Мы с подругой тогда по телефону делали всякие звуки по очереди друг для друга и залипали)) Только, конечно, я тогда не знала, что это такое. И в универе у меня был этот эффект, когда преподавательница английского клала перед нами карту Великобритании, водила по ней ручкой и рассказывала, где что находится. А я залипала и с трудом скрывала свой кайф, пытаясь сосредоточиться😀 И я случайно узнала, что существуют видео, которые специально вызывают этот эффект. Это я смотрела видео одного психолога и у нее в комментах спросили, что она думает про АСМР. И я погуглила, что это, и так нашла этот канал)) Причем, другие АСМРтисты не вызывают у меня такие ощущения. Только Маша)) И еще в этом видео мне понравились их с сестрой периодические небольшие переговоры на русском. Они внесли изюминку в это видео.

Yes, excessive tapping, word repetition, tongue clicking, mouth sounds, hands "fluttering" in front of the camera, taking lids on and off jars, excessive use of spray bottles or pumps.....all of these things are trying to force ASMR. Some people have the gift to do ASMR with voice and movements alone, she is one of the gifted ones.

This is the type of video that makes me wonder how many people experience mirror synesthesia, bc it's not sounds or some kind of immersion effect that is doing the job here, it's literally watching someone and experiencing what they are feeling (or what your brain thinks they are feeling), i find that fascinating.

Yess, my first ASMR experience was watching massage videos (not intentional ASMR ones, I didn't know that existed at the time), and I agree, is "feeling" what a massage feels like virtually. So interesting
I feel almost everything the receiver in the video experiences.
Not literally feeling the sensation as someone with mirror synesthesia would, but it's an odd feeling, it's like her hands are on mine but I just can't feel them... sort of like the proximity, but not the sensation per se.
I've been having a bit of tingle immunity for a while now, basically just using the videos for relaxation, but this one is definitely bringing those tingles back!

About 4 mins in when you're talking about the games, it reminded me of one we do. It's called Round and Round the Garden. It's a nursery rhyme. So when you're saying "Round and round the garden goes the teddy bear" you circle the other person's palm and the you say "One step, two step" as you walk your fingers up their arm like you did here and then chaos ensures because the last bit is "a tickly under there" as you tickle their arm - I was always so tickly as a kid so the giggles of me when my mum did it to me set her off too 😂 when I worked in public libraries, we had toddler sessions and the parents would do this and the giggles from the kids was just the best 😊

You must've taken some courses in bodywork OR have had a lot of it done! Some massage therapists don't understand the basic integration and intention skill... The way you introduced your touch and then move the intention from one arm to the other is totally pro! I've said for awhile that I think it's a skill you either have or you don't. It explains why you're so good at what you do with ASMR! You AND your sister! :)
