Trout fishing is an adventure that you can personalize. You are only limited by your imagination and the rules on your licence. Lucky for us in Taupo New Zealand we are aloud to use split shot to get your flies, or Nymphs down deeper and faster. In this particular spot ,on this beautiful little spawning stream, I came across a few trout sitting deep in a short pool. My normal weight of 4.5 Ml's of Tungsten, just wasn't getting down fast enough. Sometimes you need to get your Nymphs, right in the trouts face and I obviously wasn't doing that. I am having major problems with my Video set up. It is the Garmin VIRB XE. I have lost sooo much video footage because of the Video card being faulty, it is heart breaking... Thanks for being patient mate. Am just uploading a good clip of a massive brown trout I caught today.
