What a beautiful journal.
You create layouts with such a light touch.
In comparison, I feel sometimes my journals are like board books, lol - but I always put a varnish on top of my layouts, and then when dry, rub with crumpled wax paper so they don’t stick to each other so they’re not quite so delicate.

This is amazing. I have found my functional journalling has helped me to come out my 18 month PTSD black hole that has been living in after my mum was misdiagnosed multiple times with cancer (turns out she has a bone disorder, but they would say it was this type of cancer, need to do test, do test and it would come back clear). It was like a yoyo for 6 months, back and forth. Then we had the massive Australian fires and then the lockdowns and my mind couldn't handle it no more. I alao lost my dad when I was a child to cancer and I was very much a daddy's girl.
Now, I am using a Hobonichi A5 Cousin Avec, A5 Stalogy as a collections/notes journal and a Happy Planner Faith planner as my bible study journal. I have found that as long as any decoration does not block what I am wanting to do, then I am happy to use it. I in no way at all can do what you have done, not because i don't want to but because my brain cannot do it. Although there are some I could do now that I keep seeing further along in your journal

Thank you so much Carole 🥰 Sometimes I decorate ahead of time, especially if I have a busy period coming up. Most often I do it all as one session though 💕
