The way you talk about undertons and shimmery particles in Mac foundation might not matter to people but it matters to people like me who loves detailed oriented reviews. Writing this so that if you are having "blah" day, you at least somebody out there loves your content and looks forward to it.
Deepthi i tested out this foundation in stores and noticed the shimmer particles as well. Thank you for being honest and mentioning it because no other influncer is doing it . The shimmers in the foundation will cling onto the lines and exaggerate skin texture . I picked nars foundation over mac and don't regret it . i am the same shade as you in nars .

Deepthi loving this look on you. I too love my Nars foundation. And I’m really eyeing both the PatMcgrath and Natasha Denona concealer. I have to say, I don’t have loads of things from either of these brands but whatever I have tried from them have been impeccable. Literally can close my eyes and buy from them coz I know they will work

I have been matched to nc 42 in mac foundations. But I feel nc 40 is more suitable for me. In the studio radiance foundation nc 37 is perfect for me which is surprising. I have neutral undertones. Putting it here in case someone finds it useful. Btw I love this foundation. It has a beautiful glowy finish and is forgiving on my textured skin. The nars foundation I am ambivalent about.
Thank u for mentioning this . I used to be nc42 in concealer but in foundation nc42 is too orange on me and nc40 works better ! God knows what’s the logic behind shade numbers .
