Matiko instead of a long line get a rotary washing line that can be folded down when not in use and looks alot nicer. They also sell a plastic cover to cover it when not in use to protect it.If not in Kenya can order in line from Amazon.

It is really beautiful, great ideas on all the textures and colours. One thing would be better, remove all of the sink and shelf in the small washroom and replace wirh a tiny wall attach sink for handwash, be great with space to walk in to shower 😊
Mom can use the bucket system to 🚿 🛁 to cook 🍳 and ❤️ use the WC. Let the younger ones maintain filled buckets all the time. Until you have running water.. harvest all rain falls.....

Mom’s house is beautiful. Even so, instead of taking the houses, consider putting a thatch roof, color the walls and doors and raise the entrance to prevent water from coming in. It will look really pretty. You can conserve history and make it look beautiful

The house looks really lovely. The decor looks excellent! This is just a suggestion, is it possible to consider dinning chairs that are practical for mama to use which have a back rest? Perhaps for your master chef classes you could use the bar stools that you have but for everyday use you might want to consider normal chairs which support the back for safety. Chairs which are suitable for all ages. It's up to you but, it's a suggestion.
