Incredible content here in this vid btw, it's thoroughly apparent that alot of hard work went in to tying this all together and I for one, appreciate it greatly
Never! I sometimes have to take some time to do other things. This time I was finishing up my new website which turned out to be way too much work... but now that's done and I'm very happy to have time for youtube vids again!
Wow! We must know this... thanks for sharing your tips and ideas my friend.. I learn something new today.. good luck and more power 2021!! Done here my friend! See you!!!
I'm catching up one year late and I love this. This is so easy and simple to follow and it's going to be helpful. Before I watched I thought it was going to be really difficult but after I watched I realized anyone at any level can use this exercise. Thank you so much for uploading this vid
Hey thanks! I hope you manage to keep it up for some time. You'll be amazed with the results and how it will open up all kinds of new fun ways of playing without it actually costing you too much time or effort. Cheers!
Great idea! When you took it to the pads for the "real world" application I got chills! haha seriously. I love how a tabletop rhythm can turn into something cool and a million different combinations of cool on a pad. Thanks for the vid. It got me excited to put this process in motion.
Just found your channel to improve my finger drumming and rhythm this new year. I appreciate your approach to learning and mentality towards practice! Looking forward to more content.
Thanks so much! 😊 I'm very happy with it. Worked on it for a year to build it into the ultimate video lesson environment so it's very nice to hear from people who saw it and think it's nice.
Yes I did. I learned how to play multiple instruments so I figured I could learn how to build a wordpress site. And I was right :-) I could already do html and css by the way just from many years ago. But this one Udemy course taught me how to turn that into a Wordpress theme. Very well explained. Still took me many months but it wasn't as hard as learning to play jazz guitar!
Yes it will help for sure! I had a very busy year and this was the main thing I did. Crazy how much I improved just by doing this in between other stuff, waiting in the car etc.
Great video! Lately, I have been binge watching your chance and I love it. I appreciate your content and I was wondering if you please do a review on the Alesis VI25 MIDI-Controller, please and possibly compare it to other MIDI controllers with drum pads and which would be best for keys and drums. Have a great day, God bless you.
I'll put it on the list. Cannot guarantee it because with those piano / pad hybrids there seem to be so many of them that i wouldn't know where to start or stop. But this one seems affordable and nice so... maybe!
hey man, thank you for these videos! I was wondering if you could do a remake of the sound of the drums, how epic it sounds in the song called Dream - Shawn Mendes. Could you please show what kind of sampling plugin could get close to that ?
I listened to it and you can make yhis sound for sure in Addictive Drums. My guess is Fairfax 1, Fairfax 2 and Blue Oyster kits will get you there. Most important thing here is to turn up the room mics. You also need some heavy saturation on there so it starts to crunch.
Hey great video. Just a question about your technique. Is there a reason why you play with straight fingers?. When I play, I feel like I get better contact with a crooked finger.
Oh thats just for tapping without a pad controller. On a table you can also tap with fingers bent but on tour legs for example there would be no sound. With flat hands there's also still a sound on softer surfaces. But that's the only reason.
My upload schedule has peaks and valleys depending on other circumstances / work / projects. But right now I'm in a good place to churn out some videos so my guess is you'll be a happy man the coming months as more videos will come out :-)

You have such quality content. Thank you for your great works.
Generally a good exercise for drumming as a whole. Keep up the good work!
Yeah absolutely. A lot of drummers already do this on a practice pad :-)
Great work man. thanks
Finger drumming. Finger drumming everywhere. great contents! big fan.
Please make a video about you favorite drum VSTs🙏 that would be awesome! Btw great stuff!!!
Right now I can recommend the 100% free Steven Slate drums and the paid Addictive drums 2 kits. Especially Fairfax 1, Black Oyster and Funk kits.
@@TheQuestforGroove thats funny i use the same stuff! Slate 5 and Addictive Drums Fairfax. Thanks for your content!
Another great, succinct video! As a professional keyboard player, I fell this could help anyone with timing issues - especially me ;)

thank you for the really inspiring lesson! will definitely try this :)
Thank you so much for everything you do!
Thank you for this. Enjoyed it.
I haven't looked up this channel in so long...
Great video. Thanks!
Your vids are awesome!!!! That's why i challenge you.

Eyes closed, and no metronome.

ang hirap naman but thank you for teaching us
any exercises for mayonnaise?
Make the mayonnaise yourself and stir with your non-dominant hand. That will improve the coordination :-)
