    Great modification, looks quite secure being attached to a metal handle. Was initially a bit concerned about damage to the handle from any sideways seat movement leveraging onto it. The music and riding on the road is just so soothing. Thanks for making these great vids.

    This is exactly what I had planned!! I knew that handle would be perfect for mounting a bike seat! Should be getting mine in about 3 weeks!! Flip that piece attaching seat to spring over - that's what the slot in the seat is for,to get an Allen wrench in to tighten it lol

      Steve O you think the slot in the seat is solely there for the purpose of allowing access to the bolt if it’s facing up? Do you have a reason to think that it’s not for ergonomic reasons? I always thought it was there to relieve stress on your tailbone. Your Coccyx. I didn’t think access to the bolt was normally a problem, but that’s a clever idea to flip it up.

    Kind of a weird question: With the shock absorber that you're mounting the seat on the seat is tilted up. Does it cause any discomfort with your junk when sitting down?

    • @ElectricUnicycles
      @ElectricUnicycles  4 роки тому +1

      In practice it doesn't. But as I mention in the video, it's easy to adjust the angle. It's actually not very comfortable when the seat is level or pointing down, when you are descending hills. Can feel like you're sliding down.

    use wet molding for leather, way easier and your leather won't suffer as much as if it's being work dry. nice idea though, and instead of the tape you could have used a giant heat shrinking sleeve.

    Don't you put to much stress on the hinge of the trollyhandle?
    I would rather glue and duct tape 3 or 4 yoga blocks together to make one single block. And cut out the handle shape. Drill a hole to each side of the single block for a rope.
    Stick some gel pads on top of the block.
    The block shouldn't rest on the handle.

    • @ElectricUnicycles

      Yes. This technique, using the bicycle seat spring mount, will work with all EUC's that have a similar handle. I'm used it on multiple wheels. I would only caution you that the V8 is a small wheel so it may be too short to be effective for seated riding.
