No. Use your own modem to eliminate $10 a month hardware rental fees. As long as it's DOXIS-3, your good to go. Buy new or used from garage sales, goodwill or 2nd hand stores, Craigslist, Facebook, etc... You get the point. (THIS IS A NON-ADVERTISEMENT)
I am working for a company in the US as sales representative.. and i have experienced talking to these trim callers they act like a real customers, ofcourse we can sense that they are not the real account holder because of their weird accents but what's crazy is they all have your information which is unbelievable... As a sale representatives we dont feel comfortable dealing with trim callers because we feel like it's different way of commiting fraud from theses people even though you guys have permitted them to have your personal account details but im just saying its your call at the end of day as a consumer, and please know that your provider wont be held accountable for any changes being made by these trim callers from overseas...#justsaying 🤞
Customers usually blame the company and rant their anger and frustration on customer service representative when things like this happens. Sometimes they even let someone a friend or relative who is not an authorize user of the account for a support through chat or call.
Not sure if I’m digging this service. You can do this on your own just by threatening to leave. Also, cutting the cord will definitely save you more money. You just have to get use to it.
It's better to reach out to support representative and look for promotional offer. This guy can reach easily reach out to support and easily reduce the bill and upgrade speed without losing 33% to Trim . Sometimes customer doesn't bother to ask or enquire about offers and promotions in their account to lower the bill. But get frustrated when they're unable to pay their bill. There is federal govt program which can save you upto 30$ a month with your internet. You'll just need to follow few process and enroll in this program
I want to cut cords as well but once I saw how much it is for internet only I figured I should just keep cable ...I’m with xfinity do you have any suggestions for internet service
Sadly no because that's what I use and I think it's our only option at our place so I haven't researched it much. Wave G is one I used to have that was super high-speed but I think that's very limited to certain locations.
Right now Xfinity is offering 200mbps internet for $25 per month plus taxes and fees for 2 years with no contract. You can then get UA-cam TV which I have for $65 per month with no taxes or fees. However, UA-cam TV is raising their price to $73 per month starting in April. I canceled Comcast at the beginning of Jan 2023. I have Verizon 5G Home Internet for $50 per month with no taxes or fees. It works great here in NJ. See if it is available where you live. The price is guaranteed for 10 years. With UA-cam TV I am paying $123 per month for both TV and internet.
It seems Trim might be linking/connecting People to Comcast packages from different states. Hince why they are able to get faster internet promos for the same price as their old one. This also might explain why some people get random " outage reimbursements" checks, even thou nowhere in their town had an outage. Edit: Not to meanion they now charge to keep the "Savings" for a Year. (almost as if they wiring through a service to another state.)
@@saltpepperketchup7082 You now have go pay them $100 a year or 33% of how much they saved you for said year. (whichever give they the most profit) So in some cases people are paying them $120 a year. Before they only charged you a one time payment for their help; but now they're selling you a subscription. Edit: So it seems they might be "connecting" subscribers to out of town deals and Charing to keep the connection.
@kaegon Thornhill Ohh. Ok. So like, going through Trim you save maybe $13 a year? Haha. That sounds like Trim is doing what Comcast does by adding more and more charges.

Oh, I remember it now. I stop dead on track when they want to access my credit card one that I use to pay bills.

Totally. Plus, they just changed their revenue model to a monthly subscription it looks like.
I liked The Money Resolution's method. You traderhines76 are just making us customer service agents' life hell. Go eff yourself
@@prudence8808 Glad I can oblige. I hate you miserable people.

@kaegan thornhill
What does your that mean that they charge to keep savings for a year?

I'm pretty tired of the same old shit and the cable bill gets higher and higher.
Lol. Amen!
33% charge of what. 33% of the savings?
Correct. So you still save 67% of the total savings they find you. However, I hear they changed to a subscription model very recently.
The whistling noise means goodbye
I can't remember what you're referring to. Was it an audio issue or was I literally whistling? haha
@@TheMoneyResolution I think they’re referring to the background music, specifically at the beginning.
$11.12 off for 12 months. Looks like that is coming up soon.
Good call! Trim has been consistently getting me $25 off my cell phone bill. Hopefully again with Xfinity soon! 🙌
A hundred bucks per year savings... big deal
Weird service
Lol. Yes. I’d call it... unique. But it has seriously saved me money on my cable bill AND cell phone 🙌
It took you 3 full minutes to get to the point.
TRIM your video.
Thumbs down.
Thanks for the feedback. I think I’ve gotten much better by now. 👍

No thank you
Trim charges $99 a year. Trash.
Ugh. Such a bummer. Is that a recent update?!
Seems to be fairly recent.
Edit: Most likely do to they are now able to hire more Agents and more people using them.
Get to the point. Too much talk. 👎
