Hey what are ur thoughts about the 5 speed transmission that’s paired to this ? Any good for Willy’s Jeeps ?

Actually, it would pair nicely. I think first gear is a bit taller. but having overdrive would be pretty handy. The transfer case profile is nearly identical to a Dana 18, however the transmission is twice as long. Besides driveshaft rework, you would need a custom adapter to bolt the transmission up. You would also need some transfer case shifter rework, but using Mahindra shift linkage would put it close to the factory location.
The transmission is fairly stout but being so compact they are a bit fragile with a tuned Roxor, but not any worse than a transmission in a tuned full size truck. With a good bearing kit and a few other things, it would probably last forever behind a factory Willys powerplant. Rebuild video coming soon, just finalizing tools and setup process.

I've seen these drivetrains when built with good us of a parts handle some hard use and abuse and keep going.from what I remember the bearings and seals seem to be the weakest link.i hope this helps.
