    This music blows my mind and takes me back to a time i wasn't even alive.
    Hard to explain but i know what i mean a natural state of being.
    Maybe something to do with growing up by the sea and on the sea in Suffolk

    The sound of the drone (is that what its called?) under the tune is so hypnotic it could lull one into a trance. A beautiful relaxing lament!

    Beautiful piece of music, I Remember the pipe makers work shop in Longframlington when I was a Young’n, sadly I think it’s a hairdresser’s now, not sure theirs anyone in the county making Northumbrian pipes now ?

    Any idea what pitch sets of of Northumbrian pipes these are ? So beautiful

      They're in F+, traditional tuning for these pipes, which is a slightly sharp F but not F#

      @@ormirian7364 The sets Andy & Andy play here are actually in F# proper - a fairly common pitch for historical pipes, and still favoured by some solo pipers today.

    The pipes sound sweet, but the repetition of the music makes it extremely boring.

      You're missing the slight variations in each repetition then? Try listening a bit harder.
