That cool sashing is the first thing I noticed! I'm guessing it wasn't part of the sashing's print itself, but the light/off white was separate fabric that you either seamed in or appliqued in some way on top of the sashing strip's fabric. Whatever method you used, I give it a thumbs up. :-)
