Many years ago, during a Bushfire Disaster here in South Australia, I was involved in conducting nighttime Anti-looting Patrols in the Disaster area. On My way back to My forward operating base I passed an extremely large Tree on the hillside right above the roadway. Approximately 5 minutes later when returning up that hillside road, I discovered that My progress was blocked by the presence on the roadway of that Massive Tree. I have repeatedly thanked God for his protection that night because had that Tree fallen on My Vehicle, My Crew (3 persons) and Myself would have been crushed to death. It took several crews almost an entire day to clear that Tree off the roadway. As for our Anti-looting Patrols, as a result of Reports I submitted during 4 nights of Patrolling, 10 Looters were successfully prosecuted.
These are really scary. We think we'll be safe doing something but without luck, we'll be in danger. I also had some similar experiences. One day my husband was talking on phone standing under a coconut tree and I walked towards him. Just at that moment a coconut frond fell over me. Luckily before the thick end could touch my head I moved forward. All I got was just some scratches on the face by the leaves at the tip. Another incident happened when I was outside the house talking to some neighbors and came home to find the door locked. I didn't had the key because my husband was inside the house. He had his headphones on and was not responding. So I went towards the backdoor which was open. I entered and closed the door but then my eyes landed on the clock which I hanged near the cupboard. It was almost falling down so I climbed up the counter since I'm short to reach it and when I bend down to step down the counter I smelled cooking gas. My husband had left one of the burners on the whole time. I encountered the same problem many times at my mother's house. She does the same thing when she multi-task. Now I make sure to double check everytime.
My late wife did the same kinda stuff. She lit a remembrance candle once and threw the match into the garbage. It wasn't out. I smelled the smoke, went to the kitchen and the flames were racing upp the cabinets. I got to unload one of my fire extinguishers that day.

You absolutely did a most phenomenal job on this video!! I can tell that you did lots of work to make it and one of my favorite points to it is you took out that irritating music lol. I go to sleep at night and that's all I can hear lol.
I've never been lucky when it comes to gambling but when it comes to survival, I'm dripping with luck. I delivered mail in Hollywood in the 1980's The business part of my route was on Melrose Blvd. One day as I was leaving an apt. and walking to pick up the contents of a blue corner box, a customer stopped me and asked me a question. That 30 second interaction saved my life. We finished talking and I was about 10 feet from the box, moving towards it, when a HUGE pane of glass, on the third floor, shattered and came raining down EXACTLY where I would have been bent over removing the mail out of the box. If I had been under that I'm sure I would have been cut to shreds. NO Chance for survival. That's just one of my encounters with the grim reaper. Maybe one day I'll tell you about the time I was hit by a bus.
No, please tell us about the bus! It's kinda like a delay in traffic, and you find out there was a horrible accident ahead! That delay may have saved you. You're very lucky someone's stopped to ask you a question!

True, but I don't think they'd be allowed to keep a machine like that on the mountain to rust away. They'd be obligated to 'clean up their mess' so to speak. But that depends on where exactly they are.
First dude one on skateboard is lucky his face and teeth are not all kind of messed up. That would have been something bad. They were all lucky and most looked pretty cool too. Was fun to watch. Great video

I did a move like that 2nd sports car when I was 16 - on a street we called dead man's curve. It was raining and I slid off the road conveniently their was a ditchless ridge @ the corner that I slid up, off thr road then very smoothly came back down to the road and kept going like nothing happened. My friends in the car were screaming then we busted out laughing, thank God! I can't imagine what other cars were thinking lol.
I was perhaps 6 years old, "helping" my father with his boat outside. My brother was sick inside. My dad had wired up household sockets for 12 volt. His accessories were wired with plug on them like for a house so you could just plug them in front or back of the boat. Me not knowing the difference between 12 volt and household AC 120 vlt II wired a light with a metal housing and plug it in on my dad's boat. The light comes on, my brother's looking out the window, I'm trying to show him but it's daylight, he cannot see that light is on. So I carried it in the house to show him. A 12 volt bulb in A120 volt socket is not a good idea. It exploded and as soon as it happened my father, who must have seen I was gone and realized what I was probably doing, was right behind me. He immediately he picked up a book and slammed it down on the plug knocking it out of the socket as it's sparking and popping. Around the same age my brother and I were fishing from the bank of a farm pond with our dad. I moved to another spot stepping over a cotton mouth in the process. I didn't see it but my brother did. He alerted dad who quickly dispatched it with a boat oar. I've had other close calls but those two I consider nothing but luck.
Ugh, snowboarders. They always plant themselves right in the middle of the run and usually just over the top of a ridge so you can't see them until you're on top of them. We'd ski over 30,000 ft drop a day and have at least 5 or 6 near missed. Getting run over by the sharpened metal edge of a ski is not pretty regardless of how foolish you are.
That whole open underneath the guy near his chair someone forgot to pay their debt no the underworld wants reimbursement with down payment😂🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😅🤣😂🤣😂
Rallying is taxing enough, but I've tried controlling a car on two wheels and it's not easy. Granted, I didn't have a 4 or 5 point harness, but it's still difficult.

Visited Bryce Canyon Park during a storm. Ranger was closing up a vista point due to lightning. We told him we'd only be 2 minute. Returned to find a very large tree limb in the parking space next to ours, with branches covering part of the car. One space over.... bye bye to my husband's new Mercedes.

In the early 80s I was rideing a bike in the rain, and lighting literally hit the road about 4 or 5 feet directly in front of me but didn't touch me!!
how scary. thank God you are ok.

the production quality of this video is top-notch. it's clear a lot of effort went into making it.

That parachutist had to have crapped his pants.
Why do i feel like contracting the helicopter had to be more expensive than what that sled was worth?
It's a service
Was thinking the same thing Frank
Not likely. A few hundred bucks for that job to get out a several thousand dollar sled.
