Absolutely great ! You are the first mentor who has changed me ... after the massive disasters I went through, and the probable death after my 3 weeks coma ..

Wow !!! You've verbalized it sooo well ...!!! I love that you went straight to the point so you kept our attention all the way !!! You were quick and clear !!! Honestly, I saw lot's of people deliver that message but none did it as efficiently as you did in that video.!! Congrats !!!

Speech cadence was a touch quick for me, I don't know you need to speak slower or I need to listen faster, still great message!!

Immortality Forge Set the playback speed to 0.75 brother. Its still understandable, it just makes him sound a bit stoned and the music is more chilled aha

I was brain damaged at the age of 4. From 4 to 10 I also had many concussions and was verbally abused by family. I grew up before there were bike helmets and safety equipment. Needless to say it's too late for me and my life was miserable. Good luck to you.

Brain plasticity means we can retrain the brain by "working it out" just like you can train your muscles.
I also grew up with abuse and trauma and I just couldn't concentrate or memorize things at all. I hate my brain some days. Barely graduated high school.
      Things that helped:
      Audio books!!!
Water fasting for 3 days at a time creates cell autophagy, renew and boost cells in the brain!
Stop watching brainless heads talking about news that is twisted facts (too much brain space needed)
No alcohol or gluten no sugar if I can help it
Learning what is meaningful to my life and what I love learning...not somebody else's vision of what I should know.
Fixing my furnace, gardening, neurobiology, psychology, cooking, leadership, and mindful parenting are all things I have become a master in. Because it is meaningful to me. Real knowledge is gained in application and life experience and I'm a hands on learner.
      Know your learning style.
I caught my auto thoughts saying anytime I made a mistake "I'm so stupid" and changed it to "everytime I make mistakes I'm learning" or "no big deal, what's next?" Modeling this behavior has been a game changer for how my kids talk to themselves also. I hear them spill something and instead of anger or shame they say "what's next?" and they clean it up.
That may be obvious thing to most people but in my home of origin that spill was the source of getting hit, yelled at, or unreasonable anger from adults.
Our mindset also breaks the dysfunctional and abusive generational patterns we are BOUND to repeat unless we change our fear and conditioned responses intentionally.
      Good luck.

@@tbbart6463 Thanks for posting this. I will give audio books a try and really try to work on my brain each day. Take Care.
