Fantastic, thank you for this, just what I need for a Creative Christianity workshop I’m running next month, I wanted to share with folks how to make a quick and easy prayer or gratitude journal using envelopes, and this technique is so straightforward, and explained so well, thank you, God bless
Sounds great!
Great Tip! Thank you for sharing!!
Thank you for watching!
Awesome! This is the best tutorial I have seen for these. Thank you so much👍💝
Thank you so much! Happy crafting!!
You know, if you started gluing the bottom envelopes first, things would stay more flexible and the glued parts wouldn’t have a chance to become distorted.
Yes, you are correct! Too bad I didn’t think of that!! 😂😂
This looks VERY interesting, but two important pieces are MISSING!!
You didn’t show us the RESULT OF gluing the flaps, and 2) you did NOT DO a flip through of the FINISHED journal so that we could CLEARLY SEE how it turned out!!! 😪😭
Could you redo this video and include showing us how the glued flaps look and a flip through?
I think it might be a good idea to do TWO versions: 1) with the edges showing on the spine and 2) with the envelope flap covering the spine edges. BOTH should have flip throughs.
Thank you most kindly!!
Thank you! Best tutorial 👌
Thank you!!
Absolutely love this tutorial! Very clear and concise; great job! Looking forward to more tutorials 😃❤
Perfect! Thank you so much for watching!
Great idea. I can't wait to try one.
I like this style quite a bit! Hope you try!!
That was awesome!❤
You are sweet!
This is such a great idea. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you!!
LOVEEEE ❤❤❤ Thanks soooo much 😊
This is a genius idea
Thank you!!
I loved your technique! I'd appreciate to know if there's a video of this journal finished. I've already built the journal, but I'm afraid that it will not close after decoration. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you. Very helpful
Thanks for watching!
Very helpful, thank you!
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing. I’m new to paper crafting so I’ll try this technique. Can you show how to decorate?
I am sure I will be doing that in an upcoming video. Stay tuned!
Neat!
Thank you!!
You needed to show how t stack these envelopes before adding the glue.
I like working with envelopes for some reason so I really like this! How many envelopes did you have in the video that you were gluing together?
I actually never counted but I think there was about 20-25, so about 50 pages.
What if you used double-sided tape?.... Might be quicker 🤷🏼 would it hold the same 🤔
Not when the glue is cooperating! Haha!
@@rootpursuit LOL
So how does it lookwhen you open it up?
I really like how this book feels because it open wide and flat, however the pages are thick and therefore bulk up pretty fast.
Also I haven’t ever finished decorating one of these - I have made at least six. So I think I should probably get to it!
What kind of glue are you using ?
Art Glitter Glue. It was originally designed to glue down glitter but it works great for paper!
Sadly no final flip through
