Went on a school trip to Ebbw Vale steelworks in the 1960's. Still have a piece of an additive metal ore like silver coloured coal used in production. A visit now to similar would be health and safety prob.

All that trackwork reduced to a single stub end terminus. What a waste.
The works closed through lack of business; sign of the times
