You seem to misunderstand Lady Fani Willis is not on trial as a defendant, she is in court as a witness. There is a world of difference, you know? Finally, the judge seemed to prevent the lawyers from speaking because the lawyers had been asking irrelevant questions throughout the court presetting. I'll be perfectly honest in closing, had Lady Fani Willis not been a woman of color this would not have happened!
You don't seem to understand that none of these people answering question are on trial, they are witnesses. There are 3 or 4 people asking questions and most of them have tried to ask the same question in a different form of tricky way. If you think Fani Willis, her father or Nathan Wade have done anything illegal, I fail to see how you can possibly look past Donald Trumps criminal activities.

Ok, so this isn’t about their affair. This is about ethics. They are saying (which is a stretch by the way) that by her hiring him to do contract work and carrying a relationship with him that she in turn benefited from the contract or funds paid to him from his contract. They are trying to show that she is corrupt by accepting gifts and trips from him and that those gifts and trips were paid for by money he received from his contract with the DA’s office. The same office that she runs. Essentially they’re saying that she is double dipping and benefiting financially from her relationship with Mr. Wade and that is a conflict of interest. She is a smart lady, but you would think that she should have seen this one coming.

Wade had to ask her the same question 3 times before she finally figured out what he was asking. I and others probably caught on the first time he asked. I don't believe she has ever tried anything of this magnitude and decided to use some of her old tactics in going a backdoor way to get charges dropped or cases dismissed. A couple of Esquire friends of mine said Merchant doesn't have the skillset to go up against Fani. If this ruling goes in favor of the Fulton County DAs office, Merchant may have made a mistake because Fani might take over the case during trial. We'll see.

I just remembered years ago reporting Public Corruption to the FBI in Atlanta. It covered local law enforcement in a three-county area and theft of property from my client, a Veteran disabled wtth Traumatic Brain Injury.
The Agent stated he would send it to the FBI Satellite Office in a small town right in the middle of the geographic area.
He is hanging up and I am loudly saying, "Wait! Wait! Wait!" I asked him if he thinks it is "wise" to have it investigated by Agents IN THE SAME GEOGRAPHICAL AREA AS THE CORRUPTION.
He acted incredulous and I was telling him they might know each other, play golf together, attend the same church, etc. He said he was sending it, anyway."
Two weeks later, a call comes. The Agent at the Satellite Office states:
"I have a report you made to the Atlanta Regional Office regarding a 'SEIZURE of prop...".
"No. I did NOT call the FBI to report a "SEIZURE' of property by law enforcement (It was already happening and I was so mad). The word 'SEIZURE' I never said and is a word chosen by whomever wrote what you are reading...
I reported a 'THEFT' of my client's property. A seizure can be a legal taking of property and I do not call the FBI to report 'legal' events. I report 'illegal' events to the FBI.
HIS PROPERTY WAS STOLEN, IT IS A THEFT, THEREFORE, it is illegal and a criminal act.

I got off the phone, knowing it was useless to try. Georgia has some unusually strange courts, lawyers and law enforcement. Many have been very good to work with, too. Local and FBI. I have to call so much, they probably have an alarm for me warning them because I win ALL of the obligatory jurisdiction wressling matches....not because I am smart. I am old.
I'm sorry to hear that, and my heart hurts for the American Veteran that I appreciate the services that he provided. However I am not surprised in the slightest of how the F&! handles " a internal matter" . If the last few years haven't shown any improvement it definitely shown that the corruption is VERY DEEP. Any federal agency has to balance what matters it will take in for investigation, and, to which, it should dedicate limited federal resources. I cannot affect that decision, really, and must accept decisions made to postpone actions on my complaint or to refuse to act on it, altogether. It is, simply, a procedural step to do the "obligatory jurisdiction argument." If my call is like one I once made on a matter affecting affluant people losing money to a horse breeding cabal, I expect a response like I got. The Duty Agent said that I was asking for their help for wealthy people losing assets that most people consider to be luxuries. He said that a call received to help the same number of people who are affected by crimes like kidnapping, as a child, and being trafficked (forced into work or into sexual predator servitude), I will know which takes priority.
I stay misplaced in time, as the daughter and stepdaughter of Veterans who became fathers late in life and who suffered silently and today's group who are young enough to be MY CHILDREN! This judge is a joke! He keeps this line of questioning in the strict and narrow, but then lets Fani Willis walk in and steamroll the entire proceeding. Ridiculous.
That isn't a good thing for her. If a judge is giving you excess latitude like that, it often means that he is setting a record against bias because he is planning to screw you over in the actual decision. This way, he gets to claim "I let you say whatever you wanted to, even when you crossed the line, so how are you calling me biased now?"

Also, Bradley was called in to give his full testimony in chambers, regardless of privilege, and that could end EXTREMELY badly. Fani tried to use fake obstruction accusations to silence the ex-wife, and so what are the odds that she is holding the SA accusations over Bradley's head to keep him from talking (ie. claim privilege or we charge you for the SA)? He clearly can't be motivated by his license, as that was gone the moment it came out he leaked to Merchant. Bradley has no choice but to spill to the judge, and, if it comes out that the DA office threatened a witness to cover up personnel misconduct, this could get nuclear levels of bad, really quickly.
The only way I could see the judge not removing her and Wade is if he is partisan. The evidence is there already, and failing to do so just puts a magnifying glass on Fulton County that I don't think anybody in local power wants. That said, if he is going to remove her, he has an incentive to make it stick in a permanent way, to avoid retaliation (ie. go for her job, license, and career, rather than just her spot in this case).
