Lack of a father figure, an abusive father and strict/disciplined father etc. Is one of the most common factors to be found in serial killers and criminals! So yes having a good relationship with your dad is a great thing! It definitely makes a difference.
My mom actually knew him before they found out about all the stuff he did. She remembers the pit beef stand he had, luckily she never ate there, she said it “never smelt right.” Little piece of Baltimore history in my family.
I honestly feel bad for the mother, like imagine raising a kid as best you can giving them food and love just for him to grow up and do these disgusting things.
has it ever been considered that maybe he was a compulsive liar? it would explain why his and his mother’s stories don’t match, and compulsive lying and manipulation are pretty common traits in murderers.
I've never understood why people dislike true crime ASMR. It's like listening to a podcast or watching a scary TV show except that it sounds wayyy more relaxing. I personally listen to it while I'm playing Animal Crossing 😆 Great video as always Sam!!!
Ehi ciao!
@@misscloud560 a short summary: it occurred in Japan. I don’t remember the exact details but basically, these men kidnapped a woman and raped her/held her for days in a bathroom. Same here. An up close, ear-to-ear episode would be perfect. Especially because no one does it that way for true crime videos. I realize there are many different triggers and it's dependent on the individual, but I just cannot relax to ones with slimy mouth sounds and heavy breathing when speaking. It actually gives me anxiety. I miss the foam windscreen.
The way he describes his crimes reminds me of the prison interviews with serial killer Richard Kuklinski (The Iceman). Completely emotionless while he describes the most horrific crimes imaginable.
Your so good at doing these crime stories! Next year will be the 100th anniversary of the William Desmond Taylor murder. He was a famous Hollywood director and to this day its still a cold case, it would be awesome if you did a video on this case.
Besides his actions, I think this video is really cool! I've always been interested I'm true crime AND asmr, those two are probably the most watched things I watch on UA-cam. I never imagined the two combined!! Thank you ♡

Hi Sam! Can you look into Setagaya Family's murder? It's an unsolved crime even though there were so many evidence left on the crime scene. Also the motive of the murderer is confusing/unclear. I'd say you should check it out.
Omg I fell asleep while watching the video, your voice is such a pleasant voice to hear ✨ True crime is my absolute favorite series in your channel, even though I’m a lawyer and I’m used to work on/hear/read this type of stuff a lot.
Yay I was just thinking that I wanted a new True Crime story from you!!! Perfect timing I love you Sam!! I hope everyone has a great day, night or weekend!
@Jamie Pritchard haha I have, but for a short period of time...never really heard it there. But I was speaking more of the Americanized context of the word. (But, of course, everything said in general terms isn't a science...and is prone to exceptions.)
Was started on some anti depressants and its helped me fall asleep easier and faster so I haven't watched asmr in a while. Saw this in my sub box and had to check it out!
right. I live 10 min away from where the green river killer lived and hunted. my bf was in prison few years back with Gary ridgeway. they were getting a haircut at the same time. he said Gary looked completely blank and motionless with black eyes
So I get how some may not like this type of ASMR but for me it was tastefully done and better than reading it from the web or book to myself. Well done
Interesting. I am from and live in Baltimore and I do not remember this. I would have been 18 or 19 at the time. This is crazy Pit Beef is a big Baltimore Tradition. I think I won’t be eating pit beef for a while.

True crime videos are the best. Having them mixed with ASMR is even better.
Cream of the crop
So true it's so addicting
I couldn't agree more
no lies
Agreed
I am noticing a common theme in all of these true crime videos: the lack of fathers in their childhood. Only makes me want to be a better dad one day
yes it seems to end up with a hate for women (from being raised with only a mum)
Lack of a father figure, an abusive father and strict/disciplined father etc. Is one of the most common factors to be found in serial killers and criminals! So yes having a good relationship with your dad is a great thing! It definitely makes a difference.
@Jamie Pritchard Yes! Parents, be it mother or father have a lot of influece in the child. Especially if something traumatic happens.
i'm kinda scared for my future then 😀

In most cases it tends to be the emotional or physical abuse from mothers that creates these serial killers
