I had one of these, and it was the best! The best thing about it was it came with a battery pack that held 2 "C" size cells, which I put rechargeable batteries in. I used it for years.
I had one just like it back in the mid-80s. It was very cool then and super cool now. Wish I still had it.
I had one like that that my friend broung me back from Japan but it was from Another brand I think it was a Aiwa All white back in 87-88 he gave it to me as a gift. It was so cool to have in High school. Like you can tell you stick out so much with A Walkman Like that half the size of other walkmans.
I used to drool over this in the shop. I never got to own one but I did have some nice walkmans in my time, they were an obsession when I was at School.
My friend use to have this walkman when i was in High School. And i was a little jealous of her for having one.
not a walkman thats a sony line
@@thehifiguy661 dude, how pretentious do you have to be? They fucking know that, but sometimes popular branded names of a specific product category are used as an umbrella term for the whole group. This is a “walkman” the same way a handheld game system is a “gameboy”, or the same way any internet search is a “google”. Don’t be a jackass.
@@christianmccauley7340 chill bro, chill. also am i wrong?
that was the point of High School to show off all your toys if you were the rich kid.. I was surrounded by rich kids and had some of those feelings as well.
Nice. Very cool Walkman. For a while i thought Sony had the smallest Walkman with its famous WM-10 model. This Toshiba walkman is awsome...
I had a WM-10 in like 1992 or 93! Loved that thing!
Didn’t know about this but now I want to try to find one!
OMG..I had one of those! Incredible..I wish I still owned one
It is very small but Sony made a small one but this one is still very cool to see
I Was Not expecting George Michael!
Concept is funny but for portable device ones with full enclosing lid seem more sensible, soot or such cannot get in.
But it is stylish for sure, and not as bad as the cd version of same concept
the song is great ! is the full album available on youtube ?
I had the same player in 1987
Isn't the same TOSHIBA CASSETTE PLAYER that TOM HANKS used in THE MAN WITH THE ONE RED SHOE???
I really wanted it was awesome when I was 15 years old, how much did it cost back then?
Que lindo, aqui no Brasil nunca vi.
That's a lot of wow and flutter.
it must have it by design.
It's because it's old and needs servicing. Have some common sense.
@@musicnerd72 i think it's inherent in this model. just look at it.
Very beaitiful
The sound is different and way better ▶
Worth a lot of money now maybe 100,000
I had the same unit except in black.
It had a separate radio module?
Nice desing. I prefer Sony FX 675
Dang this is cute!
Круто!
sounds slow, low battery?
it can be a worn belt
@@olliecatmaxbelt isn't always answer for everything
@@102ttbut it can be the answer for some things😊
Where can I get subject player fixed? The FFWD triangle, back rod, spring, & pin just need reinstalling. I have all the parts.
У меня (it's me)
It's a really cool design but heck, that should sound better than this :D. It's completely warbled and distorted.
try a toshiba cp-88r for small size
You are not right. Sony WM20 is the smallest player). Just one battery and the thickness of a cassette.
Lucky
Если повернуть боком там целый кирпич?
i had one and it didnt work after a while
World smallest! 🤣 That's a fat brick. Check the Panasonic RQ-S35V.
Почему не показали радио модуль?
LOL
I don't know about the smallest I saw smaller almost just a skeleton players at the flea market as a kid, they didn't sound near as good as the one you have.
name it
it was a very bad idea to make it that small. bad for tape transport mechanism. look at that wow and flutter. also probably the cassette sticking out of teh unit couldn't be fixed in place firmly enough. these are just my assumptions.
1988년에 저런 형태의 카셋트 플레이어를 쓴적이 있는데 전혀 문제없이 잘 사용했어요
@@user-bv4ld7pk5i it depends on what you see as a problem. maybe you don't pay attention to these things.
Smallest cassette player maby, professional no
it's not a good idea to have the cassette sticking out. and because of the size there is no room for a good tape mechanism and electronics.
…ソコソコの中古でも高くて❗手✋が出ませんヨ🌕
супер супер технологии всё просрали уже такое не умеют изготавливать
Тошиба давно чипы памяти делает, что китайцы их в свои поделки суют, с надписью сделано в китае
Sounds like shit, change the belt, battery and correct the speed and azimuth and make sure you record with no distortion
sounds awful!!!
Ikr
ya
It has high W&F, muffled sound at times and the sound potentiometer needs cleaning.
Stupid device
my right ear enjoyed that
in terms of stable tape travel and overall sound quality this is a bad and useless idea for a couple of reasons.
that's actually a smart design compare to sony's wm-f10. Exposing the top part let you see the song order.
