    My Heritage was delivered on Halloween day, The only thing I added was the rear chrome rack with the top leather seat. I put too much money on my last 2002 so this time it's finished and I can use that money to ride my bike. Everyone loves their own bike, the same with me.

    I would like to see the cruise control on the left side of the bike away from the throttle control. The cruise control set button is a bit hard to reach to set with your thumb as the throttle rolls up or off. So I have to use my left hand and cross over to set it. Other than that, I have owned Honda: Goldwings, 1800 retro, 450 scrambler, Victory: Kingpin, Cross country, Kawasaki Vulcan, Yamaha Roadstar, and Harley Ultra Limited as my last bike before the Indian Roadmaster. (This Roadmaster elite is the closest color to my Harley Ultra Limited.) I have to say ... my 2017 Roadmaster is the very best motorcycle I have ever owned. It comes with everything the Harley Ultra Limited didn't. It shifts smoother, rides smoother, leans into turns better, much better and faster GPS, has an adjustable electric windshield, chrome front forks, and is heads and shoulders above any motorcycle I have ever owned! I thought my black Roadmaster would be my last. It's either a paint job on mine or ... trading for this Elite. Love love love my Indian Roadmaster! P.S. Harley did have the right idea for cruise control!

    +TheIndianMotorcycle *This model is not far removed from my hurry-up concept for Ride On Modesto (CA, USA):* If ye're not already aware, _People of the State of California_ v. _Perez Arriaga et al._ is in progress concerning the bushwhack of the late Ronil Singh CPL. Newman (CA, USA) Police while attempting a DUI stop 26 December 2018. The Roadmaster has the equipment I envision; but rather than your typical show-car paint, I envision a full-on set of Sikh Warrior graphics that would look right at home in the Punjab - a visual rallying cry for the congregants of Gurudhwara Sahib Sikh Temple. Not sure if the generator can drive a full-on set of Whelen® interceptor lights and a Timberwolf® siren, however....

    If it wasn't for all the chrome and all the electronic features the bike has i would buy one but due to how complex the electronic system is these days instead of being simple, it's difficult to work on nowadays

    • @oneslave3318
      @oneslave3318 7 років тому

      wrestlemaniac202
      It's nothing like a car for complex.
      It's a hand full of proven circuits with a strong cpu that is seldom replaced and is expandable.
      It readily accepts updates and new feature add on's to the cpu.
      Unlike the competition, the chrome is deep and expensive. I've yet to see one with rust.
      I doubt a redesign is in the making on any of the basics for many years.
      The 111 engine is a base product like the 283 Chevy that can be extended on for years. Builders have stated the 111 bottom end will hold 300 hp and the top 150 as is. That leaves room for many HP kits to add in the future to an engine that has EPA and carb Certs already on today's HP kits.
      The 5 year unlimited warrantee is good for both sides. You can buy without fear that you are a test rider and the warrantee comes with unlimited miles and transfers to multiple owners without problems and if there are issues allows Indian a chance to fix anything without cost to riders.
      There is no reason to redesign such a sweet bike. It's pretty much perfect today and will be polished and refined while keeping the excellent basics for many years.
      The bike is about 20 years ahead of the competition.
      It does not vibrate, leak or break and does everything better than the competition for its owners.

    • @wrestlemaniac202
      @wrestlemaniac202 7 років тому

      One Slave I'm just used to not having a radio or nav system, having a cable going to the carb not a fly by wire throttle body efi system and I'm not a big fan of chrome at all, if I buy a bike with chrome it'll be repainted to match the bike

  • @bobkrueger194

    Looks very good. How about fixing the problems with the existing bikes before patting yourself on the back too hard...Rusting fenders, clacking engines, breaking kickstands, failing leather seats, GPS planners and converters that don't work on your website, cumbersome hand controls on the 2017's that are not easy to use with Ride Command - there is more, but I will stop there. I love my 2017 Roadmaster, but IMC has to get their heads in the right position and fix the problems that are plaguing the existing lineup before putting multiple layers of shiny paint on a bike. I have a ticket into IMC for the problems with your route planner and GPX converter for weeks and nothing is happening. Nothing! This is poor customer service backed by poor management. Time to clean house and focus on the customer and getting these things right.

      Great Comment. But you cannot expect much from an American Bike Manufacturer who has to deal with American labor costs and the logistics of shipping in all the electronics and major electronic parts from abroad. To retain a competitive bottom line, that shipping source becomes China.

      I am on the Indian forum, yes I have seen and heard a handful of issues. But only a few. All bike manufacturers have issues and some complaints. Heck Harley owner sites are slam full of issues and complaints. I love my '17 Roadmaster and read and keep up with the info, forums etc. Hopeful I have no major issues etc. But I have seen pics of some of his above said on the forums. Most dealers handle any issues, some are not as compliant. Indian will need to increase it's the amount of dealerships, keep - get great staff, have good customer service and continue to take care of and improve upon any issues. As should any maker!! Indian is growing fast and HD is down, if Indian does right by most in the future, improve and create new models, this trend will continue, if not it will fade IMO.

    I love this motorcycle. I thinks it has the best looks, especially the engine is a work of art. The only thing I don't like about this bike's looks is the fairing. It looks too straight, looks not well thought for me, not enough curve. It just doesn't fit the rest of this beauty.

    So the regular road master cost about $29,000 the elite $37,000. So Polaris is saying that paint job & 2 extra gauges cost $8,000. Smh At least throw in bigger front wheel. Some different body work or something. What a rip off! Must be all that gold on the bike😂😂

    It's a V-Twin? ALL V-twins suck. Been there done that, I will never own another damn V-twin. How is the rear cylinder going to run as cool as the forward cylinder? NEVER! The rear cylinder gets so hot it starts to predtenate the fuel before the compression stroke has fully compressed. Stay away from V-twins people.
