To connect to Alexa you need an account in the Duux app. Then you can search in the Alexa app in the skill store for Duux, make sure you click on the right app. Then at the login screen you can click 'use passwordless login'. When the power supply is turned off and on, the device switches to standby mode and stops heating. I have switching to HDO.
