The most reasonable safest way .. I’m starting locs with two strand twist and this was the best method to make sure I’m not interrupting the process
Yes you definitely don’t want to interrupt your locs growth and health. This is a very protective style if done correctly and can help your locs grow. And if you don’t have that many locs the process is fairly quick

Love love love!!! I have about 146 small locs and thinking of trying this soon in a 10 to 12in. With the wrapping hair did you knot it at the ends of her natural loc or did you just continue to wrap it?
Thank you so much ! I just continued to wrap it tightly tighter. For the amount of Locs that you have I would double up on the locs per Faux loc extension

Does it matter if you retwist the loc first ?
When you are wrapping the Marley hair how do we make sure it doesn’t unravel?
You would just wrap it tight enough over itself
Do you remember the length of the soft live that you used?
I have a lot of small locs and I want this look but I don’t want them to be too long that I can’t put them up in a ponytail like this.

It will work for you , you would just have to comb your ends out a little

Why didn't you start it off with retwisting she clealry in need of a retwist bad then it's going to be even more new growth when she remove this
@@queenminy4052 so you want me to retwist her hair and then ADD ON a loc extension piece and then wrap on top of it …. !? That alone is too much stress and it’s truly doing too much … that’s WHY I didn’t do that.
And her locs were FINE after she took them out and waited another couple of weeks and got her retwist …. It’s not wise to retwist the hair and then do a style ok top of it … I would NEVER recommend that to Anyone EVER.
