Are you planning on restoring the whole body? That would be great to watch, a full lada niva restoration body, steering, suspension etc in english comentary for the first time. Smthn i would definately support in every way. Keep up the good work for all of us Niva freaks out there!

This is a resto-mod, so all the rot will be going, but not necessarily kpet standard, then all the transmission is going to be re-enforced. Thanks for the support, its very much appreciated! 👌👍

I need a bloody tripod that comes with camera skills as I'm horrendous lol great work buddy one day with plenty of practice I will be somewhat as good......hopefully, whole different world from working on jigs and then been a finish welder on oversea containers that I use to do way back but I'm enjoying it regardless, ive only really ever repaired floors and sills but basically places you don't see in the past.

Tripod is honestly best investment I've made for video, it's brilliant. I've done all sorts of welding in the past, lots of site and bench stuff, but most enjoyed coachbuilding and roll cages so I like it for a hobby 😃

@@MetalByBrian have you ever watched fitzee's fabrications or trev's blog? I'm sure you will quite enjoy their skills as you're all very alike barr the Yorkshire bit as that far better in my book but I'm biast lol.

I used to watch fitzees but haven't watched him in a while. I've never seen trevs blog.
Trouble is these days I'm busy doing my cars, and with family don't get much chance to watch UA-cam, I like the fab forums if you've ever watched him, but his latest videos are lacking imo

@@MetalByBrian totally understand, fab forums I follow but I've not watched in ages as he's gone to mainstream, I'm more about watching people who are more relatable like the guy at home doing his project or in a small shop making do with what they have out their own pocket and if they make it big but stick to their roots and do what is true to them then I will always watch regardless, you should have a gander at trev's blog when you have a spare moment.

Yeah, fab forums seems to try to be sort of "Hip" I like his work though, but his channel seems to gloss over the work now and focus on culture. I'll gives trevs blog and gander when I get chance 👍
