Strike Shigaraki COULD Counter Hawks (Nr im cooked)

A friend of mine found something pretty interesting while playing hawks, his beta can't go through shigarakis beta. As someone who loves to play strike shigaraki i always thought his beta wouldn't do anything, just being a puddle on the ground not effecting hawks. Although its not very great, its something you can use to stop that THING from doing his iconic, no brain beta combo.
I haven't used it that much because i was only told about it yesterday but its pretty useful to use in crowded areas as far as i know.
It doesnt make strike shigaraki much different during this shitty meta but i'll take anything i can get with this character.
If i was to buff strike shigaraki, i would probably change his special action to something that powers up his decay, but not damage-wise. something that would help hit enemy's above the ground but nothing extremely broken. I also feel like he should have that decay effect assault shigaraki has on his beta.
Melee damage against obstacles should be alot higher, but dont increase his damage toward enemys. But i honestly have no hope for this character, as he is just a default character. Byking refuses to have any of the defaults any better than their gacha quirk sets or characters (until they are free), and if they dont want to do anything cool for the defaults then all i ask is to increase his gammas damage a bit more, so i can tune it and erase peoples HP
