As others have said, Ashley Judd is the other daughter. I don't think anyone has (correctly) mentioned that she was blackballed from acting in the late 2000's by Harvey Weinstein because she refused to have sex with him. She later was one of the first women to tell her story and call him out in a memoir she wrote in 2015. She also was featured on the cover of Time Magazines 2017 Person of the Year with a group of women titled "The Whistle-blowers" at the start of the Me Too movement.
Yes. I'm so proud of Ashley for coming forward and calling that sexual predator/rapist out along with the other women he had attacked. Ashley, Wynonna, and Naomi all three have/had been through so much heartache and trauma. It had become too much for Naomi. Bless her sweet, yet injured & broken heart. Their songs are powerful.
The Judds have a legacy of great music that is eternal. Listen to Girls Night Out, Mama's He Crazy, Rocking With The Rhythm and Love Can Build A Bridge. They truly deserve to be in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
They were together for eight years before Naomi became ill and had to stop singing. In that short time they won 60 awards. That's how talented this duo was. Rest in peace Naomi. We love you Wynonna ❤.
My sister made an TikTok video of her holding our's mom hand when mom was in the hospital fighting for her life using that song , unfortunately our mom didn't make it, at her mom funeral my sister played that song as a tribute to mom.
I always loved them. The first CMA award they got, Naomi (the mom) got on stage and said “ Well kick the dog and spit in the fire “. I was just a kid but I thought that was hilarious! I still love their music. RIP Naomi.
We played this song at my daddy’s funeral bc all the grandkids called him “Grandpa” as did all the kids at the church he attended…every time I hear this song it reminds me SO much of my daddy ❤️
You need to watch their video of Love Can Build a Bridge! I was able to attend a concert on their final tour. It was amazing! Love, love the Judds! Naomi’s passing was such a shock and so sad to hear. We miss this unique mother daughter duo!
You mentioned that if it were you and your mother, you'd be tussling in the tour bus. That's what happened with the Judds. Wynonna was slightly wild then. Naomi came down with a severe case of hepatitis and had to stop singing and received medical treatment. Theirs was a volatile relationship. They reconciled and wrote and sang Love can Build a Bridge because they truly loved each other and the lyrics came from that. Naomi was a single mom. A nurse. Raising two daughters. It was rough.
There was a movie made about them called “love can build a bridge”, the mother was already sick then. I’m not from the US, I used to love them, that was my favorite song. Second was “Mama he’s crazy” Wy went single after awhile, she’s amazing. She also sang “simple the best” in honor of Tina Turner…
The Judds, as a duo, is a deep well of great songs. Wy also has some very good solo songs, "I Saw the Light" and a duet with Clint Black "A Bad Goodbye".
My God. Playing acoustic guitar while singing live, no auto tune, no pitch correction, just damn good singing. They killed this performance. I remember hearing them on the radio when I was a little kid (born in 83 here) and singing along with all of their songs. I loved them all. Especially "Love Can Build A Bridge". That's probably my favorite one.
So much reverence for this family. Heartbreak doesn’t do it justice. Talk about a hole in the soul. I remember where I was when I learned of the loss. It ran deep even though I hadn’t followed the two closely. This song was my favorite of theirs and on my playlist. Your insight, and reaction spot on -love watching the consciousness in you admire and watch itself in them. Life animating form 🙏🏻
A few more by them - Rockin' with the rhythm, Girls' night out, Have mercy, Love can build a bridge. Also check out Wynonna's solo tracks - No one else on earth, I saw the light, She s his only need, My strongest weakness, Girls with Guitars!
Two of my favorite gingers. I get chills listening to them. Ashley Judd is the other sister she's an actress and very beloved as well. Love can build a bridge is the song by them that you will love.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this song. I used to do it at karaoke. It reminds me so much of my own grandfathers. Now you NEED to listen to Daddy's Hands by Holly Dunn.
I lived in Oklahoma when they played at a local radio station fan appreciation concert! The Judds, Gene Watson, TG Shepherd, and 2 local bands played! The Judds was leaving from there, to receive this reward! After that concert, I had a thing for Naomi Judd! I guess you could say. She entered my PDC! Lol
Wynonna Judd is one of my favorite country voices. You should definitely check more out from her! One of the videos I would recommend is Wynonna singing "Love can build a bridge" at Naomi Judd: A River of Time Celebration
I love how you said working with your mom would drive you crazy then turn and talk about handcuffing yourself to your daughter 😊 that’s every mother daughter relationship love your daughter to death>mother drives you crazy >now you love your daughter to death=the cycle of life 😊
I'm so glad you found this song and reacted to it. I cried watching this on my lunch break at work last night lol. This was always my favorite song by the Judds and it reminds me of my late Mamaw who used to always play this song for me when I couldn't fall asleep, and it worked every time. I love your reactions ❤ I'd love to see you react to more by them. "Love Can Build a Bridge" is another great one, and another one of my favorites.
I saw them in concert when I was a kid around the same time as this was filmed and I was so excited when they both smiled directly at me in the front row. They sounded so good live! All their music was so good.
I got to meet this amazing duo on their tour bus after a prison rodeo where they performed. Back in the 80’s. They were so welcoming and kind. But man, that means I’m old!!!
Oh wowwwwwwww! I haven’t listened to them in a minute! This me be my favorite album of all time. ( and I don’t even listen to this type of music) my mom would play this cassette tape day and night!
I loved Judd music. They did not always get along, just like the rest of us Mothers & Daughters. Naomi was very talkative & very funny. They had so many great songs.
This song will always bring tears to my eyes. I remember hearing them play for the first time, I wasn’t a Country fan but I was definitely a Judd’s fan!
Ashley Judd is an Amazing actress!! I Love Ashley in "KISS THE GIRLS" (1997) with Morgan Freeman, Tony Goldwyn, Cary Elwes. "DOUBLE JEOPARDY" (1999) with Tommy Lee Jones and Bruce Greenwood is another favorite. RIP Naomi.
I❤ur reaction 2 this. This was 1 of my favorites from them, I grew up listening 2 them cuz my mom listened & likes country. It hurt my💔when we lost Naomi, I couldn't even imagine exactly what she was & had been going thru. Ashley is well known (in my opinion) an extremely good actress, she was in the movie "Double Jeopardy" with Tommy Lee Jones among other movies. RIP Naomi, you may be gone but you will never b 4goten. We miss u.
At the time of this performance Asley Judd the actress was still in High School and living with her father. Fun thing is Naomi and Wynona didn't always get along with each other, but the love between the was so real.
Mega Successful Duo" Ashley Judd Is An Incredible Actress! Sadly She Was At The House That Horrible Day And Found Her Mom After She Died! You Had Their Names Correct! Beautiful Ladies And Music! Many Awards!
I used to sing this song to my Papaw and he’d always shake his head and say the same thing…. “Baby girl, there’s no such thing as ‘The Good Old Days’ … it was just a different time and we had different problems, but it’s all gonna be ok! Don’t worry about the past too much, just keep looking forward to the future to come!” It took me many years to fully understand what he really meant, but it all makes sense now!
A Mom whom a lot of us lost. This is a good way to remember her. 🎶 🪽 (Ashley Judd was an actress in several movies like (title?;) with Natalie Portman having a baby, living in a Walmart 💙;,)
I danced with my grandpa at my wedding to this song... My photographer got a picture of us and he was crying... I just lost him about 19 months ago... I miss him so much.... You should react to " Love can build a bridge". Its a wonderful song.
Their entire story is just....Hard. They eventually all became close but it wasn't always that way. Naomi (mom) was dealing with a lot and as often happens the girls (Wynonna & Ashley) got pulled into it. Everything was done with love, but mistakes were made. They are a relatable family because they were a mess. I love that they were just public enough about their struggles at you got a glimpse of the fact that they had struggles too.
Naomi was the mother and Wynonna is the daughter with the powerful, beautiful voice. Naomi was a nurse. A very lovely song. The other daughter is an actress and a good one. Ashley Judd . The Judds were not the Judds but changed their names. Wynonna was born out of wedlock and mom and daughter got along like you would get along with your mom.
this was sung at my fathers funeral, at the time he had 28 grandchildren, sung by the oldest grandchild & her brother-in-law, not a dry eye in the church.
Such a wholesome song. Life has always been crazy. Imagine being the generation that grew up through two World Wars, the Spanish Flu and the Dust Bowl/Great Depression. All that in 40 years.
That was my parents generation. They were tough as nails and didn't complain. Dad never spoke about his WWII experiences except late at night with my veteran uncles after us kids were in bed. What little I know was from pretending sleep and listening in. I'm sure I've forgotten some the 60 years since Dad passed.
The other daughter... you may know her by the movies she has been in... Ashley Judd.... a few titles include: Double Jepordy, Divine Secrets of the Ya - Ya Sisterhood, Kiss the Girls, A Dolphins Tale 1 & 2... etc...
Judd Daughter and Sister Ashley Judd is the actor of the family. They also had a brother who had leukemia. Back then, leukemia treatments., they did chemotherapy but,it was experimental back then so they didn’t know how chemotherapy worked so if it didn’t quite work the way they wanted it to work, he was left with no hope to live. There’s a TV movie on them that is on their career and the brother.

If you didn’t have money, you would park along the strip and watch the other cars go around. One of the good things we had was drive in movies.
The other daughter is Ashley, she is a well known actress. ❤ U Brit. Unfortunately we lost Naomi to life long depressive disorder. Rip beautiful lady.
always had a crush on Ashley, she is sexy & same age as me
B.S.
Lost her life to her own hand.
worked with someone for over a decade that looked just like Ashley. She's a good person. I don't like Ashley Judd though.
As others have said, Ashley Judd is the other daughter. I don't think anyone has (correctly) mentioned that she was blackballed from acting in the late 2000's by Harvey Weinstein because she refused to have sex with him. My favorites are Love Can Build A Bridge, and Mama He's Crazy
Love can build a bridge is FABULOUS
My favorite is "rocking with the rythemn of the rain". ❤❤
My sister made an TikTok video of her holding our's mom hand when mom was in the hospital fighting for her life using that song , unfortunately our mom didn't make it, at her mom funeral my sister played that song as a tribute to mom.
Naomi struggled with depression for years and was diagnosed with hepatitis many years ago. RIP Mama Judd
In your reaction video to Carrie Underwood how great thou art you ask “Oh my who are those firey redheads!?” There they are lol
Listen to elvis do how great thou art. You'll get chills.
This one gets me every time. My Grandpa was my rock. I can't believe that he's been gone for 15 years now. I think of him every day. ❤
Before they made it, Naomi was a nurse. Working long hours to support her 2 daughters.
Yes, Ashley Judd is an extraordinary beauty -- acting now for 30 years.
Johnny raised a generation; you could turn on the TV for 30 years at midnight there Johnny would be. He will always be the king of late night. RIP
What's crazy about this song is that it is just as relevant today as it was back in the 80s. This Judds song is timeless!
I always loved them. The first CMA award they got, Naomi (the mom) got on stage and said “ Well kick the dog and spit in the fire “. I was just a kid but I thought that was hilarious! I still love their music. RIP Naomi.

So sorry for your loss, sounds like you had a great daddy, wish I had.

I love every second of that too! My favorite Judd's song is Mama He's Crazy. Turn It Loose really gets into their rhythm.
I’ve always found this song haunting. It stays with me for long after they finish singing. Rest easy, pa paw.
Another great song of theirs is “Why Not Me?”
This is one of my favorite songs of all time, and boy is it relatable right now.❤
every Judd's song is AMAZING!
This is my favorite song by the Judds! They have a great catalog to rabbit hole down.

Naomi Judd was an R.N. in Kentucky before they became The Judds singing group.
I saw them on their last concert tour. They were as good in person as on a DVD. Beautiful.

Ashley Judd is a wonderful Actress!!!! Double Jeopardy is one of my favorites with her!!
This is 80s country music which is so good along with the 99s as well and the Judds had some really good songs

Wonderful reaction. i was 14 years old when this came out. I watched this episode of the Tonight Show With Johnny Carson. It was so Inspiring.
I saw The Judds and Merle Haggard in St. Louis in 86. Excellent show! The Judds were fairly new then and opening for The Hag.
This song is such a tear jerker to me 😢
At the time of this performance Asley Judd the actress was still in High School and living with her father. Fun thing is Naomi and Wynona didn't always get along with each other, but the love between the was so real.
I saw Wynona in concert 2 times. Wow. I will never forget them, they were that good. What a singer.❤ Thank you for appreciating these 2.❤
Brings back some memories some good some not so good...I guess thats life you can't appreciate good without the bad...
"She is His Only Need" is a very beautiful song from Wynonna Judd.
Yes it was heartbreaking the day I heard she took her life. She struggled with depression a lot.

Love the judds
Yes the world was really like that! I'm 65 years old, and I'm lost in most of this world today!
Do a deep dive. They're wonderful. Other daughter is not a singer, but an actress - Ashley Judd, who is wonderful in her own right.
“Mama, He’s Crazy”. Or “Why Not Me”. Two of my favorite songs.
I’ve always absolutely loved this song.
Wynonna did go on the Judds final tour to honor her mom and to be with her fans/family. She often says she feels safe on stage
this was sung at my fathers funeral, at the time he had 28 grandchildren, sung by the oldest grandchild & her brother-in-law, not a dry eye in the church.
Larry Gatlin sang beautiful song he wrote and paid tribute to Naomi. You would like the song "Help Me".
That;s such great tune I always loved it
Wynonna even had successful solo career..Love her voice
This is one of my all-time favorites by The Judds! Also, Love Can Build a Bridge, and Young Love are other Judds favorites.
Old pictures and cow cow boogie are some good ones but really everything they did was amazing
***ROCKIN' WITH THE RYTHM OF THE RAIN***
This song has made me cry before, because I thought of my grandpa.
Johnny Carson is a role model for how to have a sense of humor and interact with people.
Great singing for sure!
Some of the best harmony ever. This was live too!
both of my grandpas passed when I was a baby. Rest their souls. Rest in peace Nioami
Look at how much everything has changed in just the last 50 years. People remember the good things from long ago. I remember as a teenager in the late sixties and early seventies, being bored all the time. There were no computers, cell phones, color TV, or malls. There was only walking around, riding a bicycle, or cruising in your car, if you could afford it. I remember passing my hat to take a collection for gas money. If you had gas money, you would drive around and around the strip showing off your Chevy Nova, Super Bee six pack, Cuda, Mustang, and other cars. If you didn’t have money, you would park along the strip and watch the other cars go around. One of the good things we had was drive in movies.
I miss my Mamow and Papaw. I’m 55 and I’ll never quit missing them.
