Back on the practice ground today Alistair and I can assure you that revving the wrist is a great feel. I saw the comment about a motorbike throttle being the right wrist and you get the same feel. Just love it.
Hi Alistair , i can't tell u how many gold videos i watch on here but yours are the easiest to copy. This has changed my game so much for the better , i'm so much more consistent now thanks so much.
Not so sure about the 'revving' sensation, as any golfers who are bikers will feel inclined to rev their right wrists. ;-) Left wrist focus however works! :-)
Hi Alistair, great tip, something I've actually been practicing of late!! A couple of questions though plse:- Some pro's are suggesting that you need tour-level strength/skill to be able to effectively strike the ball well when having a bowed wrist at the top? Secondly, is it also possible to shallow the club in the downswing if you have achieved a bowed wrist at the top of the backswing? Ideally I'm wanting both, but just wondering if they are compatible? Many thanks Andrew
Thanks Andrew, both are possible. If your extended at the top then you have somewhere to move to, if your flat or bowed then you have to maintain it or increase the flextion a bit. Both are good just different patterns. Working towards flat wrist should only help all golfers
One thing I do notice in your swing is a shut clubface at the top when you work on the flat or bowed left wrist. This going to cause any issues? I know it's better than open.
Please understand I certainly wasn't criticizing your swing. I will be working with your great tips in an attempt to better my position at the top. My personal tendency is to get cupped. So you think with a more neutral two knuckle grip say, the face could be a bit more square / or on plane. Love your stuff and thanks.

Love the “revving the wrist” feel. Been in the garden today practicing that feel.
Hi Brian, the and for the comment, good luck with the revving. Al

Hi Duncan, happy for it to be either hand you think of to initiate the flextion of the left wrist. Al
Great tip Alistair! thanks mate!
Thanks 🙏
Thank you for the tee drill. I'm really struggling with cupping my left wrist.
Good luck

Where is that beautiful course ?

My grip can be a tad strong so with a flat wrist it will shut a tad. Not really a issue as long as I rotate hard through the ball

@@scottknouse9580 thanks, yea didn’t take it that way. Yep with a neutral grip a flat ish wrist at the top is gold
Hi Alistair, when I try to get the tee peg up to the sky, I end up rolling my forearms way too much and get a really flat swing. Any tips on that?
Yes point it to the ground until rib high and then too the sky
@@adaviesgolf thanks
Great video!
Thanks 🙏
There’s something about arching my right wrist that feels much better than bowing my left.
Great to own your own feel to achieve what you want 👍
