One of my favorite Yes album, mostly all songs is killer...
I bought that one as a new release back in the day thinking I probably wasn't going to like it. I played the hell out of it though! I don't think any of the songs are in my top ten Yes songs but, I don't think there's a Yes album I've listened to half as much as this one!
…Grand Slam Anthem Box 6 CD’s.
Thank you Brendon Snyder…..
…Here is a 51 Old Man,Fan of Thin Lizzy (Phil Lynott).
This is a Must,Must to have it!.
I bought the Loverboy. I was at this great concert.
Joanne shaw Taylor heavy soul 👍
Thank you for your keeping us in the loop.
I appreciate you!
Suzi Quatro's younger sister Patti Quatro played on Fanny's 1974 Casablanca Records album Rock 'N' Roll Survivors. She replaced singer/bassist Jean Milligan's sister June Milligan on guitar. The Milligan sisters played together on all of Fanny's albums on the Reprise/Warner label. I think Wounded Bird once reissued those albums on CD, but they must all be either very rare or out of print because they are extremely pricy. We're talking $200 CDs here.
Nice to have a Loverboy live album
...that's one I'm interested in. Saw Loverboy in 1983(?) with Zebra as the opener.
I wouldr mind the Trower BOS box, either.
Can't believe Cactus is still doing new albums.
Hope you wil review the Yes Talk Box set.
I like the album "Talk" very much. The boxset has been delayed on Amazon, but I found it two weeks ago at my local recordstore, for a much better price ! This, and the Anno Domini boxset : killer week-end. Have a good one Brendon !
Good morning Brendon! YES! Talk! Waiting on my boxset through Amazon which has been delayed. Great album, excellent tour!! Trevor Rabin at his very best. FOREVER YES❣️❣️❣️👍😎
Evergrey- ‘Theories of Emptiness’ also dropped
Fourteenth album from the Swedish Prog Metal band who have been around for 30 years. I cannot recommend them enough!
They’re on Napalm Records.
Another great episode! Some good things to note: Apocalyptica got permission to use Cliff Burtons actual bass on the track Call of Ktulu, and DarWin this is their 4 release(third studio album).
Kissin’ Dynamite actually releases July 5. Amazon’s had the artwork for it and the new Evergrey album flipped for some reason. I had both preordered.
Hittin is a great band
It's funny that Grand Slam's latest release is called Wheel of Fortune, and that it's release coincided yesterday with Pat Sajak's final show!
As far as the new Robin Trower set is concerned I still think the original album is the best the remix. I am having a little hard time getting used to some of it, but I like the live material.
I would buy this BOS box just for the Live stuff...
I'm excited for the rerelease of Tales of the Great Rum Runners by Robert Hunter. As a Dead Head its a great month not only a Deluxe Edition of this one but in 2 weeks we get the 50th anniversary Deluxe Edition of From The Mars Hotel.
Great video as usual. !I've how passionate you are about music.
Great video sir. I’m at home today waiting for the postman to drop off my copy of the new Grand Slam CD. I ordered the signed copy as I think this band is amazing. Saw them tour the last album and the band were incredible live..
(Edit - just turned up - signed by all 4 members! And included a remix/remaster of the debut)
Hey Brendon…Thanks for mentioning the Issa album, was hoping you would. She’s very underrated. Waiting for mine to arrive. First two singles, Armed & Dangerous, and, All these wild nights, have been great 👍
Just got Bon Jovi’s Forever. I like it. I’d almost class it as lite country rock. I like it better than the last few. He sounds ok, singing somewhat gingerly I think, but you’d expect that with the surgery he went through. I’m not surprised they aren’t touring the record, I can’t imagine him being able to do it. The man can still write a great tune. Legendary has grown on me. Fantastic lyrics in Hollow man. And I completely popped for the line in My First guitar…”playing old kiss records in my parents backyard”
Cheers from Sydney 👍
Thanks for mentioning the Fanny Live CD. I never would have known it even existed without your information. I ordered one before your video ended. Keep making great videos!!!
Have you listened to anything by The Warning? Three sisters from Mexico. They friggin rock. I think you might like them. I do and we seem to have the same tastes. Keep up the good job on the channel.
i remember .. FANNY from several TV appearances in the early 70's .. there is a documentary about the band out there called 'The Right to Rock" .. over looked as a pioneer of female rock band history ..as is the unfortunately named "Liverbirds" .. an English all female band from the 60's
My Talk boxset just came the other day! Can’t wait to dig into it!
Still waiting for my Bon Jovi too. Ordered a signed copy from website months ago.l I've been getting new releases from Amazon on Sat not Fri. Guess we will see what you picked up on new music finds. Hope you go out and get some new music this weekend!!!!
A new release besides rock music is for me (and maybe a guilty pleasure) Auroras "What Happened To The Heart? ".
Last truly great YES album Talk.
Thanks, will check out. Have a good one 👍
I keep hoping John Parr (not mentioned here) would reissue his first two Atlantic albums - if he hasn't done it already.
I think youll enjoy Fanny's music. They can really rock.
Nice AC/DC shirt I picked up the new BON ◇ JOVI cd 💿
We love krokus
I picked up this week the new Issa cd and Loverboy live cd/blu-ray. 😎👍
Favorite pink floyd(sorry if I asked this before)
I also have been enjoying the Bon Jovi album.
The other Warrior is with Rob Rock from Impelliteri
Yeah there are lots of them out there.
Bon Jovi's new album is just amazing
So is Bon Jovi worth buying? How does Jon sound?
I suggest you check out the tracks via streaming first. Jon certainly sounds different to the old days. He's doing a country twang thing now with his voice. Very derivative middle of the road stuff now.
Not interested in these album anniversary deluxe box sets. Not worth it for me. Only interested in the CD itself.
Same for me. I find I might listen to the outtakes/alt versions stuff once and that's it. With the exception of the Tom Petty Wildflowers box set! 😍
I second that, these anniversary editions, and all the remastered albums always make a bid deal about alternate takes, unreleased tracks, demos etc. but I usually find these tracks just aren't worthwhile to any degree, they usually sound like crap, alternate takes are commonly inferior and stripped down, demos are recorded so poorly that they are unlistenable.....I don't get why folks are falling for these so - called, "rare gems" so commonly hyped on these sets! Now remastered albums (especially from 60's and 70's, or albums that were originally poorly mastered, I'm all for, I've picked up many that now sound terrific) but have learned quickly not to get excited over newly released sets or remasters that tout these "special" unreleased tracks! Demos are demos, they are usually recordings that should stay unheard.
I prefer streaming over physical. but that's just me.
I am finding the Bon Jovi album very difficult to get through. Jon sounds like he's 80 and the production is impotent. It doesn't have that "fire in their belly" urgency you expect from a Bon Jovi album. I agree with the Lost Highway reference but, I'm not hearing Have a Nice Day on here at all. Have a Nice Day is so much of an in-your-face album full of hard-hitting rockers that I wouldn't go there. I might say Bounce and Lost Highways but, with an 80-year-old Jon Bon Jovi on vocals. To be honest, they haven't been the same since Ritchie left. I liked some songs here & there on these post Ritchie albums but, I find them missing something. They should have allowed Phil X more input. He could have provided the spark that was Ritchie's half of the mojo but, it seems as though we're only getting Jon's input on things.
Yeah not a fan, seems to be mostly the same mid-paced style the entire time. Not my thing, he sounds tired and like the spark is fizzled out. I'll see the tour if he pulls up just because I've never had a chance before and his music was my childhood, but man it's a shame
First again.
I'm so done with Bon Jovi. No offense, but they're highly overrated, imo. Tired of hearing the same old hits.
Then you should listen to something new from the band to get away from the “hits”. But it sounds like you’re not really a fan.
@@BrendonSnyder I like some Jovi, just not all of it. I did mention that I liked their AOR/melodic rock material and power ballads from their 1984 S/T debut and sophomore follow-up 7800 Fahrenheit. Keep The Faith had some bright spots, especially the now criminally underplayed title track. These Days from 1995 is a good pop-rock album. And Bounce from 2002 had its moments.
