    Excited for the new Steve
    Plunkett album, I wish he would do an album of all the great songs he has wrote for other bands and project's, he's done in his own version,so everyone can hear how great they are.

      That’s a great idea! Dan Wilson from Semisonic did that and I loved it.

    Keep hearing that the "album" format is dead, keep not believing it. Great info Brendon, you're keeping thousands of us tuned in to music happenings and helping to spread enthusiasm for current great material being released! I rely on these episodes for new release info - great work!

    Also on July 26th, Bruce Dickinson releases a cd single of Resurrection Men from the Mandrake Project album. This will include 2 live tracks recorded on the current tour.
    Thanks for all you do to keep us up to date. Cheers, Brendon!

      Yes I think they are reissuing the all of the later era albums. I’ve seen a bunch of the other albums listed for reissue as well. Which is strange because I didn’t know they were out of print. Visitor for me was too bluesy. I prefer the albums that came before and after it. But still worthy of adding to the collection if you’re a UFO fan. July 28 they are reissuing Ain’t Misbehavin which was a good album.

    Can't wait for the Mr. Big release. I've got their entire catalogue. I believe they are calling it quits since the band's loss of their drummer, Pat Torpey. It just isn't the same without him. They are old also.
    I'm disappointed with the VH release. No CD only extended release.
    Also can't wait on the new Deep Purple release. Love the 2 songs I've heard. Sounds like Perfect Strangers days.

    Hey Brendon. I have a question for you. I have all the original Pete Townshend cd's from his website. Do you think the value of them will go down with this new release of them? Thanks. See you soon at Record Exchange. Rob

    • @BrendonSnyder
      @BrendonSnyder  4 дні тому +4

      Perhaps. The ones you have will be on his own label verses the new ones on Universal. So there is a difference which may help yours retain some value. But I suspect once they are mass produced no one will be interested in the first pressing and value would drop. But I’m just speculating.

    Getting
    Yardbirds (if it gets released), Mr. Big, John Lennon (The 2 CD Version), Eric Clapton, Deep Purple, Police (2 CD Version), Fleetwood Mac and Ghost
    Not getting the VH box because I don't like box sets that are vinyl and CD and the price is too steep. You're not getting too much extra that I'm excited about.
    Bummed but as mentioned above won't be picking up the box sets for John Lennon or the police because their prices are too steep. Have to go for the 3 CD versions.

      Been watching Brendon for a few years now and throughly enjoy his posts but Mr. Big, Great White, Guns n Roses are all hard rock bands. Not glam metal even if all did come out during the era.
