Thats the basis; as long as theyre following that, the sub messaging can be different or used in a different way as long as the core message is maintained an altered remix is a perfectly valid remix. The core message is to have the conversation. Not perfectly present arguments equally, unbiased while encapsulating and articulating ideas, morals and values into rhyme schemes.

This just proves how alot of cops feel towards minorities
the original song portrayed both sides how they saw themselves allowing the viewer to realize that both men at the table had a life and a reason for their feelings and actions. Both characters in that song were human beings doing their best to get by and butting heads because of misunderstanding or lack of perspective.
This is a cheap misguided knockoff in which neither character is a good person. Both are overly bigoted and have no depth of character or redeeming qualities. Instead of being able to feel empathy for both men we are told there is a singular right and wrong without stipulation and for that reason the entire message becomes a condescending and biased sermon instead of a commentary on actual issues.

Thats because you and the author doesn't understand the 3/5 law. The southern slave owners ( you know the ones who treated black people like less then human and committed atrocious acts to them) well these slave owners wanted all the slave votes to count 100% because they controlled there slaves votes. So the north in an attempt to weaken the coting power of the south made an law that made slaves not black people count as 3/5 of an vote not 3/5 of an person. An freed man's vote was still an full vote. In other words the 3/5 an vote law was made to attack the institution of slavery which actually was an extremely effective policy. This one policy allowed anti slavers to make much needed power gains to end slavery. For some reason people are taught that this was am southern thing to dehumanizing slaves when in actuality it helped to free them. Funny how people don't bother to read history anymore.

The way I see it, the reason the cop "comes clean" about being racist is because he was pushed off the edge and snapped. Basically like you want a racist, I'll show you one. It's really deep and shows where the police are at. We don't need blind abolishment like one side says, but we also don't need blind funding like the other one says. We need total police reform. Better training, better resources, and so on.

Personally, I don't remember the whole video now since it's been so long.
However, what I said was probably referring to how the original song, was developed to share opposing views outright, without censoring either side.
But the remixes, such as the video I watched at the time, all dropped the message completely & resorted to targetting either side without hearing the other out. And if you ask me, that completely disregards the purpose of the original & I think it was pretty sad to watch such a good thing get made into a bad thing by some people who utilize someone else's base to further their own agenda.

ive watched about 5 or 6, "im not racist" remixes, the first one i thought was really good, they are all pretty good, but it's not letting the Truth be heard from the perspective of a white man who is not racist, they each make the white persons perspective end in a way that says he is ignorant. If it was presented from a real view , letting it go, as great a case that is made to show that the white man is the most racist of all men, an even greater case would be made to show that the white man is the least racist of all men, but The end result is that we are all the same, the color of your skin has no bearing on who you are within.

I do think police should do better but has nobody noticed that 99% of a cop shooting a black guy was because of they did an illegal action.
