Kathy Griffin has been banned from the Ellen show because Ellen considers Kathy too mean spirited. That seems very hypocritical when Ellen basically said that Liza Minelli looked like a "drag queen" at the 2014 Oscar Show. She not only said it to her face ("bad manners" according to Kathy) but in front of billions of péople watching worldwide. Kathy has always treated Liza with the deference which an icon deserves, except if she does something stupid by marrying two obviously gay husbands, Peter Allen and David Gest. Even Liza admitedly that was dumb on the Larry King Show.
I just saw Kathy's stand up the other night and she BASHED Ellen, and I didn't really get why. BUT now I do, I think Ellen is jealous. Why would she agree to have Kathy on and then treat her like this.

Kathy’s jokes might be mean spirited, but at least it shows honesty. Ellen is two faced and would rather be a monster behind the scenes so her ego is protected. I always liked both of them, but as I am older I see through Ellen and Kathy seems pretty straight forward.
