I'm from the US but I'm like 75% Irish and my grandparents were super Irish and they both lived by that statement. Me and my boyfriend have just moved into a really old house. It's from the 1700s and used to be a Slaughterhouse. We've only been here for 3 days now but I'm afraid to tell my boyfriend what I've been experiencing. the first night there was a sound coming from the bathroom around 3am. Sounded like a dog moving along laminate flooring. The next morning I came down stairs to make a cup of tea. I heard something behind me and when I was in the kitchen, I heard the same noise that I made when coming down the stairs. I was the only one home.
Also I was going to the bathroom yesterday and before I got the the bathroom I saw the door slowly close. I heard my bladder until my boyfriend got home.
