Some of my buddies and I went to a Strip Club, one of them had number 6, the siren whistle. When the dancer got down to her panties he blew the whistle as she removed them. Timing was impeccable, the whole place busted out laughing, the bouncers escorted us out, they didn't find the humor in it as much as we did. LMAO
They all are great sound effects - I can’t vote for any one in particular as a favorite. However, I will say that the nose flute is definitely the weird one here 😵💫😱
my favorite is the nose flute, it's been 4 years now that I'm always with a nose flute in my pocket the weirdest to me is the little siren because I'm always amazed at how sirens work so simple yet so complex at the same time
@@WORLDDRUMCLUB Whistles 1 & 2 are rabbit distress calls and are used for hunting coyotes. I loved the video, a quick UA-cam search will show how the call is supposed to be blown.
tha majority are calls :the second is for the owl, the first for swamp birds, 3rd for the "moineau", 5 for the duck, lastfor the "mesange/ nightingale" (seconds birds to call in the morning, after the crows, before the cock) A very "batucada" fells-like whistle is the roller whistle/call for the "fauvette", with two secondary holes to modulate the note.
I love the sound of #7, and I would like to buy a #7 Nightingale Whistle to scare the birds and my workplace. But #1 reminds me when I was visiting a nursery full of crying babies to pick up my nephew. That whistle triggered my post traumatic stress síndrome up close and personal. Update: (Jan. 6, 2022) I just bought the 499 Acme Nightingale Whistle after watching this video one more time. Sometimes I work outdoors and I am surrounded by birds singing next to me, so I am planning to have some fun along the way!!!
#7 is super common in Eastern Europe, you can buy it at traditional fairs. Usually it is just your typical bird shaped clay flute-whistle toy with two holes. It is filled with water to produce the chirping sound.
6 the acme siren. I had a ring whistle like it as a child back in the 60’s. Also I liked the sound effect on the original ADDAMS FAMILY series. And highway 61 revisited by Bob Dylan used that siren whistle. :)
Favorite, 7, I love the sound of birds. Weirdest, 4, looks strange and uncomfortable. I also like 3 which sounds like squirrels chittering in the forest canopy.
I actually watched this video because I had a whistle sound stuck in my head and wanted to figure out what kind of whistle it was. (I was the Acme Siren whistle... yikes, those are pricey... a bit more than I want to spend on a one off to add a surprise sound to my harmonica playing, but still pretty cool. Maybe I'll see if one of the off brand plastic ones work. I know sub-$5 stuff is garbage in the harmonica world, but I just want to use it as a gag. Or at least I did... watching all those whistles... I wish I had more cash. I'm fascinated by the different ways wind instruments can make sounds. In harmonicas it seems straight forward until you get into bent notes and you realize that you are actually engaging a pair of reeds, or in overbending where you get the reed that would normally sound to choke. For my money, #1 was the weirdest.
Whistle #6. Can you confirm if this is the same whistle type used in Van Halen's Running With The Devil? It kind of sounds like it to a point, but I'm not so sure it gets the right pitch.
My favorite is number 1. It sounds just like an infant crying. The weirdest, not to mention disgusting, is number 4. Number 6 "soitenly" reminds me of Curly Howard of the ‘Three Stooges’ with his high pitched vocal expression of “woob-woob-woob.” 😊
Love your videos! I've been showing my kids examples of auxiliary percussion, and there are no substitutes for your videos! My 5-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son and I voted on these whistles: We think the nose whistle is the weirdest (because you play it with your nose!), we all liked the last two the best, and they both liked the nightingale call the most.
The first sounds like a baby the third sounds like a mouse the 5th sounds like Donald Duck that drunk the sixth sounds like a siren and the seventh sounds like a bird
The first three whistles are all what they call predator calls if you want to attract a predator like a bobcat or a lion do you make the sound of the animal in distress and that’s calling in the predator in these three whistles were definitely predator calls as far as I know imitating injured rabbits or baths or other small private animals

Great story. Too bad they didn’t have a sense of humor
What a pathetic pervert 😂
First whistle is a rabbit call. Used for hunting coyotes and other predators.
Sounds more like a baby... which I suppose might call coyotes, or dingos.
They all are great sound effects - I can’t vote for any one in particular as a favorite. However, I will say that the nose flute is definitely the weird one here 😵💫😱
7 is best I guess. A nightingale sang in Berkley Square! Thanks Kalani, for some happiness and your grounding spirit in these troubled times.
my favorite is the nose flute, it's been 4 years now that I'm always with a nose flute in my pocket
the weirdest to me is the little siren because I'm always amazed at how sirens work so simple yet so complex at the same time
I would also agree this is my favorite too!!!
My cats say #1 is definitely the most disturbing.
They should know....
What is whistle 1 called? Where do I find it?

@@Cc-nj2zm It is a rabbit in distress call. Any hunting store would sell a similar call.

nightengale is my favorite... has a cool asmr-like quality in a way... i think most things involving water have that effect
#4, the nose whistle cracks me up because of the expressions on your face when you played it. But for cool sound, I love #7, the bird whistle!
7 and 3 is cool, 6 when i was a child(80's) they use to sell them for 50 cents but it was plastic, 4 just bring a whole Lotta snot(so ill)
Favorite is #6. Weirdest is #4. Pretty cool video
Nightingale whistles are very interesting, as are
the nose whistles.
Thanks for sharing ‘-
I take my Acme siren whistle to Hockey games, always gets funny looks. I have the nose flute too, great to watch the kids try and play it hahahaha.
That’s hilarious
4 is the weirdest for sure. Loved #7
Hi. Love your videos. Always with interesting content. Please can you tell me where i can buy the 7. What is the product name?
I want to know the name of 1 and 2 whistle anyone can help me

looks you're having fun so much so it's contagious. sounds like the whistles impersonate animals 🐵 🐣
I was just watching this video with captions on and it says laughter when playing the 1st one....🤣🤣
I loved number #5 COME ON GUYS, IT'S A DUCK IN WHISTLE
Favorite, 7, I love the sound of birds. Weirdest, 4, looks strange and uncomfortable. I also like 3 which sounds like squirrels chittering in the forest canopy.
Nose whistle. When I was a kid they were metal. I also had a siren whistle which sat atop a ring. Drove the teacher crazy.
Can anyone tell me where I can find a whistle that sounds like the wind??? Thanks,.
I love the nose flute. I have 4 of them and play them on stage all the time.
The last one I think they use that sound effect when someone gets hit on the head and cartoons. They see the circling birdies.
Please , I really need the name or where can I buy the first one. It's really hard to find!!!
Google this words: Hélen Baud Stockente (it's German for mallard).
It's a duck decoy whistle. 🦆
I actually remember the acme siren from Wwf when mick foley/mankind visits mr McMahon in the hospital
I would love to have all of these cause annoying people is fun!
Do it on the bus, then act like you didn't.

I just can't bring myself to play a nose whistle!!
3 and 7 good sound effect
Why did you not post where one could purchase?
#3 sounds just like a baby squirrel distress call. Id like to know the brand to purchase one.
Exist a soprano version? Or can it do high notes in piano or pianissimo? Thank you
#4 is the weirdest and #7 is my favorite but #6 i remember my uncle has that when i was a kid.

Hi~ I wondering the number 6 whistle name. How can I find that whistle on the web??
6 is funny. I like that one.
Whistle #6. Can you confirm if this is the same whistle type used in Van Halen's Running With The Devil? It kind of sounds like it to a point, but I'm not so sure it gets the right pitch.
Number 1 sounds like a rabbit call, number 2 sounds like a swozzle (punch and judy), number 3 is the inside of a squeeky toy.
Number four has always been my favorite! But it's not quite right for this line up because it's a nose flute, not a whistle.
where did you get #1? how could i make one?
My favorite is number 1. It sounds just like an infant crying.
