I'm the sort of player that always does a base at the beach for fear of stray rexes or other carnis coming and killing me and my Dino's XD I'm a wuss but really like the bases locations you share and how much enthusiasm you showed when sharing them! Found myself smiling when you gushes about the purple trees and the silence. Really enjoyable video!
My first major base on the island was next to that beach near the snow biome and there was an alpha Rex that was slowly making its way towards my base, I ended up killing it with a argy by attacking it and then landing on top of that big rock, I also killed the alpha raptor that was there too like that, things stopped spawning there though because I got a lot of tames in that area, that base is gone now though since my save file got corrupted
the village's houses count as floor so you don't need foundations. you can put beds and stations right in them, but theres a metal spawn right at the base of the hill it's on towards the river
for me, the hardest part about fjordur and it's realms is constantly finding new places that are better than the last place I just spent 6hrs building in and immediately going "woooooooow" because it's obviously better.

A level 90 therizino almost dropped into my base at helms deep, it was on the overhang about to fall but I managed to lure it to the side and away from my base, it did like 130 damage per hit Edit: I ended up taming it

theres another good area inbetween both number 9 and 10 which has natural walls all around it and it has buildings its also a really good place for taming since most good creatures spawns and you have a good area to trank them
Entire reason I pick PC over console for Ark: Mods - I don’t need a lake for hydration, I have a sink. In fact I have multiple to fit different styles; because a role player on single player, definitely takes advantage of decor and ease-of-life mods. 😂
First real game on Fjordur, I've been living in the spot #10 for a while.wish I was more ambitious, cause I barely got a real building started up in there, and the random spawns have spread my tames all over inside, but those crown towers are perfect for dropping dines and such to knock out for taming. Except.....there can fall through into the wall if you leave render. O_o
Is this like not the regular map??? Because my boyfriend and I spent hours looking for 6.7-78.3 and ended up in the redwood forest. It would be nice to know if this wasn’t the vanilla map. I thought I was going insane.
@@xSneakySnakeSagex I can assume it will be whatever reload gun button you have. And yes, you can still teleport on Xbox, if you can't get the teleport to work this way, there are teleport stations on the map too.

It has everything that you need for the start but it is tuff to get to and may have an alpha raptor spawned on it
Realm tp if you don't have access to your own or any tek tp, tames can be podded to move em easily, items are a little harder since that'll be heavy and if your just starting out could be difficult. But at that point may as well build 2 bases one in the main realm and another wherever you like t
@@dylansearcy3966 same thing applies if you have the leisure of using/making tek tps place them at each of your bases , you can fly around the realms with a Desmodus but it won't be able to haul things over to other bases with their weight, basically you'd have to use what is available to you , and if your unable to move around freely in the other realms than ofc I'd recommend sticking to midgard till your advanced enough

I have a general question on Fjördur. You said we could use a flyer for base spot one, but after I teleported to Vanaheim with a Wyvern I couldn't get on it, it would only open the inventory. I thought flyers wouldn't be allowed in these underground areas in general so I'm confused now. Does it work with other flyers and just not with a Wyvern?

you will need to make some gates in a few areas though so its not completely blocked off from the dangerous dinos

You can teleport to different realms like norse mythology on this map, if you hold down R (if you're on PC) you can teleport to a different realm

He’s using an s+ teleporter powered with an s+ generator.

No the only flyer you can use in another realm is Desmodus since they can fly in caves

Yeah, surprisingly Wildcard didn’t completely erase them but they now spawn in Asgard instead of the old rock drake trench.

My game acts like I died in hardcore mode whenever I exit the game when in one of the realms.
Pve nr 9 have problem. I left my strong tames in the cave and everything disappeared.. i am moving out now
Spot 5 was not quiet for me : ( flew over there and was ambushed by 3 shadowmane almost immediately
