Regardless of what your gender is your glutes are an important muscle. I'd suggest doing leg days which are either quad or hamstring/glute dominant. Focus on doing glute bridges
Hey bro , thanks for providing the knowledge. I have an issues with an Achilles tendon. And I am on my foot a lot too due to my job Can you please explain some loading ecentric exercise for Achilles tendon. Thanks . Love to hear back from you.
Hope you still respond to old videos! Just had a question about the volume of calf raises that you were doing, I was under the impression that excessive calf work can reduce ankle mobility and the range of dorsiflexion. I can see that you are doing lots of loaded stretching for them as well as full ROM sub max raises, but if you’re doing them in between your squat sets, if ankle mobility isn’t the best for some people, would doing this technique actually increase the lack of mobility? Love the idea of doing it for ankle and knee stability though :)
In theory yes, but it is all in the application. Keep in mind that I'm doing the staggered sets of calves at SUBMAXIMAL loads, simply to maintain proprioception and awareness of the muscles, which leads to better engagement and mobility. You are correct though - if I were to be pushing the sets to fatigue points then it would limit dorsiflexion
I am letting you know that you are the greatest source of informations I know, and that I appreciate your job !
