- Join us as we visit Alton Towers for the Festival of Thrills Smiler Takeover. The Smiler Takeover is the first Alton Towers event of the 2023 calender. The event celebrates The Smiler in it's 10th year and Alton Towers promised a series of marmalising experiences dedicated to the world’s first 14-looping rollercoaster. We experience all that The Smiler Takeover event has to offer along with riding all of our favoiurite Alton Towers Rides including The Curse At Alton Manor, Wickerman, the Smiler, Oblivion and many more. It was a fun event but was also a bit odd in places lol. Would have been good if they had The Sanctuary Scare Maze back for it.

Yes just been reading it… Hopefully it won’t be a disaster. I thought they were going to have to do something like that tbh as it will have a low throughput.
@Ben and Hollie's Theme Park Adventures I'm.waiting to see if chessington but the new jumanji rides on the ultimate reserve and ride but that information won't be released in till the 15th of May on onwards
