Elysia Beach Resort in Donsol | Swimming with WHALE SHARKS | Mt. Mayon visit

On this LONG road trip we found some great food, incredible landscapes, and a beautiful stark to swim with! Elysia is a small town resort with great service and great food to keep you rested between adventures!! Seeing Donsol for the 1st time was eye opening, the Philippines is full of amazing places I'm already planning on going back one day. Mt. Mayon was a great little road trip, Cagsawa Ruins are beautiful, they offer plenty of parking, food, drinks, and lots of photo opportunities. BUT my main goal was to swim with a whale shark, I'm glad I came to Donsol to do it, the whale shark visitor center is the 3rd most visited ECO-tourism spot in the Philippines behind Palawan and Bohol. They don't feed or bait the sharks into staying the area...they just migrate past this area certain times of the yr. Its and amazing experience swimming with the world'l largest fish.
