Great shots Tom, especially the one with the lighthouse and bench and the one through the window 👌👌The film looks good too, reminds me of Delta 3200. I just found an XA1 in a charity shop, love its simplicity and will be trying it out next week, yours gave some crispy results 👍👍
I love every one of the images you took with the XA1. I have a XA and an XA2 but turned down a boxed XA1. I thought it was too much like a toy camera but seeing your results I might have to reconsider. It might be a cliché to see footage of the photographer taking the shot and then seeing the actual image but watching your video I couldn’t wait to see how each picture came out. You’ve really made me look at that XA1 in a different light.
Thank you for your kind words and great to hear from someone that loves the xa series of Olympus cameras the xa1 is known to be the runt of the litter but in good lighting performs just as good as the others in the line would defo recommend picking one up just make sure it’s in good order stay safe shoot film Tom oa
Really enjoyed a lot of those images - some nicely considered perspectives too. It's a shame we don't have an alt reality (other than gallery exhibitions etc) where it's possible to actually 'share' film images as we share digital.

Grain working great with the moody weather
A beast of a camera in such a small format! Nice shots mate!

I’m not familiar with the XA-1, but it surely did a fine job! Did you say what the film was….. nice rich broody look! Thanks
You said Dubble Film…. I’ve used their colour film….. out of Spain, I believe!
I like the XA1 ability to be quicker than other XA cameras. Just regret the lock when exposure is locked ; I wish cheat the camera from time to time.
Yer it has it limitations but what do you expect from the runt of the litter kind regards Tom
@@OnlyAnalogue runt of the litter is too mean for me as it's way better than many other cameras.
