Edit: Yes TCS is a pathetic in terms of employee growth and work culture. But TBH what more to expect from Consultency Services. Product companies have nice work culture and they take care of the employees. Tata Steel etc are examples of it.

Yes Bengal fucked up under Mamta Banerjee when she rejected the offer and it has nothing to do with Nano's failure. Tata's PR is so strong that even you fell for it. Sure Tatas might have some good intention but this is not how their empire Started. Search their relationships to British involving in Opium trade. Nira Radia was directly tied to Tata. Nobody takes Tata's name because of the solid PR they do. Tata “charitable” trusts own majority shares in Tata sons while Ratan Tata & his family work as chief executives in Tata trusts and according to their trusts constitution, other trust members can't fire Tata family from the trust. So they enjoy the control in Tata group through Tata trusts and getting monthly allowance from the trusts without being worry to be shining in Forbes list.
