- Crabby is a legendary figure in both the punk rock music scene and the global surfer community. His journey began in the 1970s, when he started surfing the waves of Huntington Beach at a young age. Alongside his passion for surfing, Crabby also founded a successful punk band called El Centro.
In October 2002, Crabby embarked on an unforgettable surf trip to Bali, Indonesia, with his closest friend, Steve "Webby" Webster. However, their adventure took a harrowing turn when they found themselves in the midst of a devastating terrorist attack. While enjoying the nightlife in Bali's tourist district, Crabby became acutely aware of the heightened anti-American/Western sentiment due to the ongoing Iraq war.
Tragically, Crabby and Webby were mere feet away from one of the two car bombs that detonated that fateful day, resulting in the loss of Webby and around 200 others, with many more sustaining life-altering injuries. The experience left Crabby grappling with debilitating migraine headaches, PTSD, and recurring nightmares that persist to this day.
Despite the trauma, Crabby demonstrated remarkable resilience by becoming the first American to testify in a foreign court against Al Qaeda operatives. His courage and determination in the face of adversity continue to inspire those around him. - Фільми й анімація

Glad he fought those demons, the hardest battles are the ones where you get no credit or fanfare for surviving night terrors and survivors guilt. its a good story, next time i want to hear more about the good times for travelling the surf circut and shows in the early days of 70s stoners, 80s punk and 90s counter culture.
