What does fear and faith have in common?
They both deal with a future that hasn’t happened yet.
The difference is that fear focuses on the negative future. While faith focuses on the positive future.
The beautiful thing is that it’s our choice what we want to focus on. Neither the negative future nor the positive future has happened yet. So if it’s our choice, why not focus on the better of the two options?
When we put fear over faith, we are letting our negative thoughts of an imagined future paralyze us. And when fear wins over our faith, we become stagnant. And even pure water goes bad if it remains stagnant for too long.
When we put faith over fear we let our positive thoughts of the future become the driving force for us to take action. Even if it’s just small steps in the beginning, every action step we take helps to increase our confidence and decrease our fear.
And yes, it could be challenging. But when you’re confronted with making a choice between fear and faith, always choose faith!
Believe in yourself and believe in that amazing future that you want. Because with faith and action, there is no doubt that you will create that beautiful future for yourself.
