Klashnekoff and jehst are deffo pioneers terrafirma clan and low life records, although braintax screwed low life records over which is why the hip hop scene died for a bit in the UK
Nah BBC 1xtra and their decision to stop supporting and showcasing UK hip hop is what set the scene back a few steps. DJ's who were promoting UK hip hop fully were sacked and replaced with DJ's who claim they rep hip hop but the same DJ's would ignore the best lyricists in the UK and anything that was repping boom boom Bap. Fraud DJ's who don't support the culture who pretend UK hip hop never existed before 2009 and started a new thing called UK rap. The media joined in with this. Still to this day UK hip hop is totally ignored by radio and media. It's amazing that the UK hip hop scene keeps on producing some of the dopest hop hop in the world while their art never gets the recognition it truly deserves.

A "Manor" is an estate/Hood so your right that it's a play on words with Manor and Manner . Klashnekoff is one of the greats in uk hip hop which as you know is different to grime . The sagas of Klashnekoff is a masterpiece 👌🏻

You have to understand that uk hip hop is pre Grime..pre Garage m.cs. It was "underground" and wasn't exposed to the mainstream success the modern day UK rappers experience now.
As you can hear there was more emphasis on lyricism and content at this era. Garage and Grime m.cing was a dumb down in that respect but high energy and vibes.
