I listened then again with my son. I too came to the answer that if it's not in the word, leave it alone. I hear people who say they fight the devil. I tell them I trust in Jesus. He already defeated him.

The previous comment i made went to a different message I was listening to, not this one about the Holy Spirit. This is a good, solid message. If we could only learn to live each moment, conscious that the Spirit of God is in us, with us to help us through all things how at rest in our souls we would be!

There is a reason you were instructed to put on the armor of God. Without it you will not withstand the devils deceit. You need to prepare yourself for a very dark battle because it is coming soon. I pray the Holy Spirit quicken you so that you'll have the strength and endurance it will require to finish this race to the end. The Lord is returning as the LORD of HOST which means a battle warrior. He will return with His 144,000 and the war will be raging. Please prepare you cannot outsmart satan without the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
What a powerful sermon. This man is totally anointed indeed. Every sermon is 100% scripture inspired. I am so blessed to have found his sermons.

This teaching has moved me into the deeper understanding of the personality and works of the Holy Spirit, and allows us to dominate all the kingdoms of the Earth, without the Holy Ghost we can get nowhere, thank you very much God bless him.

The Holy Spirit of God moved upon people in the Old Testament but He said that HE , the Holy Spirit shall be in you meaning He will come to dwell inside us. The Bible says in Acts 1:8 the first reason that the Holy Spirit was sent was to give us power to be witnesses unto Jesus.
I can listen to this pastor ALL day long. He was truly anointed by God . I can't handle all these new pastors who teach prosperity teachings. Every Christian should stick to solid doctrine and not a feel good sermon that leaves you empty with no conviction or spiritual growth.

He says “spirit” normally here and then later in his ministry, he started to say “spidit.” Some of his other words sounded like he was trying to roll his r’s or something (again, later in ministry). Just an observation…

Elect receive Holy Spirit at conversion!
Read the new testament, it shows how the Holy Spirit came onto the church. Every single instance. Look at the Samaritans, they were already converted and baptized in water but the Holy Spirit didn't come on them, neither did He come down on the ephesians until paul put his hands on them.
The whole message is against that teaching. The disciples had the wait for the Holy Spirit. It only with His power you can go out. Without out Him we are powerless. That’s why our country is dying. Because most Christians don’t believe this. Most believe in the stamens you just made. It’s a doctrine of satin. Yes we get the Spirt at conversion but not His empowerment. Read Acts!
The change made in me at conversion wasnt just a verbal
Assent it was the power of God
The early church era was different
Tongues prophecy laying on
Of hands handling poisonous
Snakes etc they never had
New testaments only letters!
@angloaust1575 God is the same now as He was then. He still heals, He still baptises people with the Holy Spirit thru prayer with the sign of speaking in tongues, He still does miracles.
I'm one of them. I was a drug addict who had all 5 stages of phycosis. Something that medically you can not recover anymore. I was mentally gone and needed to be in an institution. Instead, a brother took me to a prayer meeting, and God healed my mind. I am now serving the Lord Jesus Christ(not a charismat, btw)
I was visiting a sister in Christ a few weeks ago who had a spine disease. She was folded into 3 her legs bent and pressing against her chest. For 4 years, if I remember correctly. God healed her in the soviet union, after which KGB tried to arrest her because her testimony was very strong.
I know of dozens of miracles God did in the soviet union where there was a huge persecution of His people. God does miracles, not magic tricks. If you try to be a clown and pick up a snake, it will bite you, and you will die.
But I know of a brother who was forced in the army to prove to the rest of the atheist that he believes in the bible( slavic Christians are pacifists mostly and went to prison in the soviet union because they wouldn't take the oath or take weapons, and military service was mandatory) they made him drink a cup of acetone because of the 16th chapter of mark.
He took it and said, "Lord, I do this in your name." The rest is in your hands and drank the whole thing. He didn't die, and the people started to believe.
I know dozens of these things. I've talked to some of those who this happened to or to the witnesses that saw this.
Brother God is alive and acting today. Believe in Him like the word God teaches. Today, He baptises in the Holy Spirit with the signs of talking in tongues like He did in the very first days.
Read and study those verses, and you will find that every single time someone was baptized, they spoke in tongues. May God give you light to see.

These days I listen to David Wilkerson, Voddie Baucham,Gino Jennings and try reading my bible daily. Because one day we all have to answer to the creator believe it or not.We cannot afford to be playing church..I pray that my children come to know Jesus.. That the Spirit draws them.
