This is a pretty solid little workbench. While once you figure out how it comes together, it is physically Easy to assemble ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh by yourself. But the diagrams explaining the steps are really pretty bad. I could not get the handle pins in all the way despite multiple attempts, so I just used a screw I had on hand for the 2nd handle. I could not get the first pin in further or pull it back out. You are supposed to hammer it in, but I had no leverage and the handle is plastic and I did not want to risk breaking it. I will get a lot of use out of the bench because of the convenient size and height. It does fold up nicely for storage. They even explain how to fold it so you don't get pinched...that is important!

Yes, I did watch till the end without skipping any part. You are a multifaceted master of your trade in every aspect. I am 80 years old and started my apprenticeship to become a Tool and Die maker on April first 1959 in Germany. I am very impressed with the precision of your work, it rivals that of a Tool and Die maker, there are very few people in this world, that are capable of your workmanship, most people today rely on automatic CNC machines to achieve the precision that you show in your video. Very impressive, I wish you all the best in your future and thank you for a great video.

Brilliant. Just brilliant. I was in construction all my life. I can appreciate the level of strength that you put into this bench. It is a level of sophistication that is not usually demonstrated in Woodworking UA-cam videos. If ever really. If it has they are probably over on the metalworking channels. Well done Gregory. Your workbench is absolutely beautiful. You are a true craftsman. I was impressed by the way you made both vises, as a 40 yr tool & die maker, I saw your skills metal working also. Great ideas and designs for the vises. This bench is perfection, and so beautiful, I wouldn’t want to damage it at all by building other projects on it. Congratulations on the completion of this piece of art. It is so beautiful and yet so perfectly built, it should be winning awards. There are a LOT of workbench builds out there but this one is next level. And even more so when you take into account the circumstances under which it was built, the budget and the limited tooling. Innovative, fit for purpose, budget friendly, solid and very very professional. No hype, no buzzwords in the description and FREE PLANS ! ! ! I failed to mention mathematics and engineering. I am an 80 year old woman who used to help my father restore antique cars. I am now converting my garage to restore furniture. Your beautiful work bench far exceeds my needs but thanks for the memories of using all of the tools with my father.

Congratulations! That is a great bench. I should know, I'm 3rd generation with 40yrs experience in furniture and have nothing even close to that. Well done. Really nice to see a person using machines that are obviously well tuned, and solid layout practices that show in the final product. Subscribed, and I did watch the whole thing to the end. I figure if you got through that much trouble to edit and share with me it is the least I can do.

I would like to say that video was very well composed and very pleasant to watch. This man is an incredible Craftsman not with just wood but with steal as well. The construction of this wood work bench is amazing. The only problem I see is that most of us don't have that kind of ability to build it. I would love to own one but I'm sure I can not afford it. My hat is off to you sir absolutely amazing.

@@user-si6ku3zy2s этот верстак, предназначен для ручной обработки при отсутствии современного станочного оборудования и по сути, является бесполезным стадионом.
При наличии станочного оборудования, этому мастеру, больше чем достаточно каркаса из профиля и крышки из толстой фанеры - а так, он ухерил кучу материала и получил очень дорогое и бесполезное расширение циркулярной пилы.
@@gopro-.yriyovich8582 возможно вы и правы но, каждый по своему смотрит и решает, ну вот например производители бренда многие продают мобильные верстаки, напоминающие туристический раскладной стул переросток, это тоже собранная из труб и фанеры конструкция, то что сделал на видео мастер это классический вид верстака, да материала много перевёл но это очень удобный в эксплуатации, многофункциональный, прочный и устойчивый инструмент, да дорого, но этот стол послужит долго, думаю что это получился столярный шедевр для комфортной работы с деревом! :о)
@@user-si6ku3zy2s так называемая "многофункциональность" этого монолита утрачена, в силу времени и современной оснащённости мастеров станками и электроинструментами.
Я же писал выше для особоодарённых и далёких от столярки, что эта хрень, реально была полезная исключительно для ручного пиления, строгания, долбления и т.д.....
На сегодня, этот бесполезный монстр, всего-лишь расширитель циркулярного стола, собственно просто рабочий стол, ну и чемодан для сбора мусора и пыли. Только не оправданно дорогой и конечно шедевром не является, так как крайне примитивен в оснащённости, которой обладали столярные верстаки мастеров давних лет.

That car shock absorber "hack" was IQ 200 move, liked that!
This is probably one of the most inspired design and some of the best engineering I have seen in a bench build. The only problem is that it is way beyond me to recreate! Fantastic work though... totally worth watching all the way through!
