- It was a sunny day, a moment to clean my floating narrowboat home. I go on an incredible walk down an historical and beautiful flight of British canal locks and a birds eye view of the reservoirs that feed the locks and canal with water. Escape with me relax and wind down from lockdown. We visit: Bosley Lock Flight, Sutton (Turks Head) and Bosley Reservoir. Includes beautiful drone footage.
The Journey started here... I once lived in the fast lane of life, happily married of 26 years, with two children. That chapter was suddenly shattered by the sudden loss of my wife to cancer, which led me in to depression and homelessness. Waking up in hospital, after attempting to take my own life, with just a suitcase, kayak and bicycle and no money, I've managed to rise up out of the darkness and find happiness and continue my next chapter.
I'm a self taught film maker, and creating these vlogs, it gives me something to do, share my personal experiences as I continue my journey cruising and living life on the canal. Please do consider supporting my channel below... Thank you Dave

These locks will be the first ones we have to do when we can finally start our journey down this canal to our new mooring.....for a newbie boater is it a good set to learn on..... ? Currently stuck further up on thia canal due to stoppage til June.... it looks like u have a great cleaning am. Xx

Can you use the 7 ft wide locks? I thought your boat is a wide beam. It just seems much wider than your standard narrowboat. Is Misty running around and cking new smells? I did enjoy all the nature. So beautiful.

@@inspiredbynature3 Ahhhh...Isness is so neat, clean and organized that she looks very much more roomy than many of the other narrowboats I see on UA-cam. I look forward to your travels.
Nice video, thanks. But do you think you could linger a bit longer on those little clips of wildlife and nature. I felt a bit pressured watching them as I think some were only on screen for 2 or 3 seconds and I reckon it takes my ageing addled brain about 5 seconds to properly register them and probably 10 seconds to properly take them in and appreciate them. Thanks.
