Great info. My wife has told me that she was first attracted to my style and my confidence. We were out with mutual friends and later in the night, we all went to a 24-hour diner. We were having great fun and really connecting. So I took a big risk, I just opened my flip phone (yes this was some years ago) set it to add new contact, and handed it to her with a big smile. I did it lightheartedly but with the confidence of Patton. She grabbed the phone and put her name and number in and handed it back to me with a big sexy smile. I remember thinking "damn that actually worked!" We now have four kids and are best friends. :D

True story: Many years ago when I was single, I finally gave up and decided to follow the George Costanza “do the opposite” approach. It worked better than what I had been doing and I now have been happily married for 23 years. I wish I had had some of your advice back then.

John I agree with you but I think there is one item missing, dancing. I’m 75 and have dancing all my life and every lady likes to be asked to dance, EVERY LADY. I may not be Fred Astaire but when I’m on the dance floor my job is to make a lady look good and feel like Ginger Rogers.

The style/dress thing is HUGE, and most men don't realise it. Younger women don't care as much, but for older women, especially 35+, it really matters.
Last year I decided to upgrade my wardrobe and bought some nicer coats, jackets, jumpers, shoes etc, and I noticed a difference in how women responded to me, including ones in my immediate social circle.
It really does make a difference, and older men who want to date should take their general overall appearance more seriously when trying to meet women.

James I dont know your handicap but one of my first jobs was working at a rehab unit of Tufts NE Medical Center, Boston. We got mostly males for long term rehab. Paraplegics and quads. The unde r 30s were sports injuries, diving off bridges etc, motorcycle accidents. 30s to 50s were often falls all these were spinal injuries. There are today many therapies to help even quads...I see in your photo you are standing....not sure why you mentioned your disability or what it is. If you are in an urban area there are likely available licensed trained surrogates who can help you....check for sex therapists they may be able to help and often use sex surrogates to do rehab...you are a young good looking man I see in your photo....you most certainly CAN date.

I’m 37 years old now almost 38 this October and I’m already gearing up to be 40 years old in 2024 and I want to attend my High School’s 20th Anniversary in April or May 2024. I’ve become a self -starter small business owner and I’ve got a growing list of business operations on my business plan that I’m going to gear up for when I turn 38, 39 and 40. I’ve been making a network of business contacts with the SBDC and SCORE and the trucking logistics industries. I’m going to soon be a fleet owner and a owner operator later this spring once I secure the business credit funding. I’ve been studying for my CDL Permit to get my Class A CDL so I can have a financial security in the trucking business and the export shipping management business. I’m needing ALL THE HELP I can get right now

OMG! Your commentary on political views is RIGHT ON the mark for me and my recent lady. We have made it ALMOST one year since meeting online but we both knew from the beginning that our politics were at opposite ends of the spectrum! I knew in my heart of hearts that we would have difficulties with that but she kept insisting that it would be easy, "we just don't talk about it"! I finally reached MY END of it this past weekend. I tried to discuss something current but she was having NONE of it. I told her then, we simply do not have a future, which upon hearing that, she suddenly gets up, goes into the bedroom and gathered all her belongings, loaded up her car and said, "have a good life.". Wow!
We are done. She's a nice wonderful lady but I cannot live knowing that I can't talk to her about something that might be happening that I find interesting in some way! Time to regroup and work on me some more. Thanks John for your insight. (It's possible she could see this since I've turned her on to the channel and she loves it!)

Looks like you dodged a bullet. I don’t mean exactly that she’s on the opposite side politically but the way she abruptly left with the “have a good life” comment, well, rude is putting it mildly. Also, suggesting that it will be easy to avoid the topic of politics...how naive.
I’m starting to think she just wanted sex. No way she was thinking long term.

      1st Take:
"My advice to women is date all of them: the bad boys, the cool boys, the commitment-phobic boys, the crazy boys. But do not marry them. The things that make the bad boys sexy do not make them good husbands. When it comes time to settle down, find someone who wants an equal partner. Someone who thinks women should be smart, opinionated and ambitious. Someone who values fairness and expects or, even better, wants to do his share in the home. These men exist and, trust me, over time, nothing is sexier."
      Yours sincerely,
Sheryl Sandberg, chief operating officer of Facebook
      2nd Take:
“My music is always going to make a woman feel like a bad bitch. When you make a woman feel like she’s the baddest bitch in the room, to me, that’s female empowerment.”
      Decently yours,
      Cardi B.
      My Humble Take:
What most simps, feminist fe/males, white-knights, betas and conservative guys fail to realize: bad boys provide excitement, novelty, unpredictability and fun (fear, roller-coaster drama) to a new level. In other words, stability and commitment (no longer) won't cut it for today's 🦄. Why is that? Before she was your girlfriend, wife or lover, she already had been "run through" so many guys. And each time she slept with someone (both wo/men), she lost a part of her psyche, well-being or mind/soul/spirit. In other words, she is no longer able to have emotional attachment in a healthy or committed way.

Love your videos John. This is great, good to see dating tips as well for married men like myself, reason I say this is because in married life you can get a bit complacent and rusty with romance as you get comfortable being with your long term partner so it's very refreshing to get ideas on how to keep treating your long term partner like you guys have just started dating again and re assure your wife/ partner that romance is not dead. Also, I am Scottish, my wife is Polish. A lot of guys think eastern European girls just want western men for money, not the case my friend, my wife loved the fact I could treat her well, spend qaulity time with her, my job at the time I first met her was pretty average, so don't let the whole "women just love a fat wallet"get you down, go out and get that girl, who knows, she maybe turn out to be your soul partner.

Really excellent video today John! This is a dimension you offer that goes further into what it is to be a man above the age of 40 than most UA-cam channels! Definitely think this deserves a part 2.

This is an amazing service to many men who struggle with women. On UA-cam there is a proliferation of guy content that tells men they need to make 300k+/yr, drive a Ferrari, be 100% muscle, act cold toward women, spin plates but demand she be monogamous, red-pill/Alpha/Sigma nonsense . . . and it all misses the point, is a blame game, and sends guys down a weird path aiming to be John Wick. It's nuts. Your videos show that it's much easier, much simpler, and no need for BS that blames women or objectifies them. If young guys cleaned up their act just like you advise old guys, women would be banging down their doors.

Agree on all counts John, btw I'm a filipino and live in the Philippines, I'm 59 separated and dating an amazing 29 yo woman, who's had experience with guys her age, her reasons for preferring older guys like me were the ones you just mentioned, and no, it's not the money, as she's prefers to be independent on those matters, although the first thing that attracted her was my love of life, I'm a mountaineer, diver, surfer and love to travel, the first time i took her those activities, she loved it, and yes we share the same values and political views, and the best part, we are sexually compatible

This is an important channel! Despite what women say, looks are highly important to them. Women are more visually discriminating than men. There are men that will date heavy women ,some even have a preference for it. When was the last time you have heard of a woman that has a preference for short men? It doesn't exist!. Height, the way you dress, and your face are supremely important in dating. There is double blind, meta analysis testing proving this. Gimmicky lines and " game" will get you absolutely nowhere unless she is visually attracted you. If you look good to her , all you have to do is show up, and have decent social graces, and you can date almost any woman you want.

I always suspected this this is why I never really tried with women and never had a relationship . I’ve done weights had eBay surgery wear insoles in my shoes (am only 5ft7 in the morning ) - still Girls/women were either horrible to me at school (most) or just not nice or not interested in my working life so I got bitter and gave up and had little luck in night clubs. Now I’m 53 and alone and now it’ll be my age as to why they never notice me . It’s just the way it is lol

Up until 30 - absolutely. In fact its so unfair and imbalanced up to this point that they are hurting a big portion of men in our society (hence incel movement etc.) but From 30 or mid 30s onwards its pretty obvious it becomes less important. Im 33 now and can see/feel the changes in my peers, especially the women. Now of course you can get bitter as a man if you didnt have "youthful love" before and just now, as we all get older, get to actually love and be loved, but well - thats why you gotta use your teens and twenties for experience and 30s onwards for the real "mature" stuff. Sexuality becomes less important for many people with increasing age (and decreasing/changing hormones lol) but companionship, communication and having a nice life together is getting more important by the day. Sex only lasts so long - you have to have much more of a "same level" with a person than just the physical.

I have much the same issue when it comes to trying new routines, or just doing that one new thing I've never tried before.
What I found has helped me is to make the new thing my top priority for the month.
I'm an early riser but not a consistent enough exerciser so I made exercising one of the first things I do in the morning.
Try doing that for 30 days straight and see if you don't find yourself setting aside time to do it bc you've habituated yourself to the goal of ?
And you'll notice you'll start to miss the activity if you can't do it bc you have to go to the doctor.
