Oliver and the Jotunheim team got to appear in 0083: Stardust Rebellion, and they brought a bunch of MS Igloo mobile suits with them, like the Zudah F, Hildolfr Kai and most importantly, a Jormugandr Kai hidden in the colony they'd drop on North America. They had to dip as soon as they were found out though, since they came from Axis and had to pretend to be neutral.
This is so accurate to what happened in the show! 🤣 It was incredibly depressing watching all the pilots die needlessly piloting these pointless weapons... Pretty much a metaphor for the German experimental weapon of WW2 like the V2 rocket.
Really only one comes off as a true attempted wunderwaffen at the end, the rest were just rejected prototypes that Zeon needed to recycle. Or literal Volksturm weapons. Which are pretty WW2 German.
MS Igloo is weird and the humans are ugly, but it does have some pretty badass moments, like the Hildolfr's stand against the 6 Zakus. It's very interesting seeing this battle start over a massive distance, but seeing what the hildolfr can do once the gap is closed and it can't use its massive cannon to literally blow half of an entire mobile suit clean off. God bless Sonnen. It's also worth noting that Sonen's remains and the Hildolfr's wreckage were retrieved in Gundam Battle Operation: Code Fairy, and as such Sonnen was able to have a funeral performed for him, and the Hildolfr's cannon was salvaged and turned into a massive cannon platform piloted by a Dom Tropen, basically acting as a proto-Xamel
@@darko7432 thanks for the info. Really glad there was a proper closure for Demeziere Sonnen and the Hildorfr. Was under the impression May and Cadillac was eventually rescued but the Hildorf was abandoned along with the pilot.
Jormungand is actually good, but it's an excellent horse in the middle of WW2 good aka it's strengths aren't really needed. Hildolfr is a failed prototype, something akin to Guntank except designed to be an actual weapon instead of a toy. Hildolfr offers some unique benefits (being a long range unit) but ultimately falls short of regular mobile suits. Zi'Gok diver is a failed experiment. It's extremely risky, needs to be recovered from enemy territory after each launch and has a very limited window of use. Zudah is an even more of a failed prototype - it literally blows up because it cannot withstand the power of it own engine. But it's super fast even if you don't push it to it's limits, so it's more so high risk high reward ms. Oggo and that mobile armor are desperation moves - one is meant to compensate for lack of usable mobile suits and the other is just a really shitty "wonder weapon".
@@kindlingking i agree with all that you said except for big rang Based on what I saw, it is a pretty brutal combatant. A novice pilot like oliver may was slaughtering GMs and battleships. It was just outnumbered, that's all.

"This is so sad" Mgiht be the theme of Gundam. The melancholy of war.
Forget Terry and Duo, Oliver was the real god of death with how many people died working with him
Even got Gato killed if we take the Manga as semi-canon.
Laughs in Iok
Nah, I believe that a fitting nickname for guys like Oliver would be: "Scarecrow" or something like that.

Man, I want to play code fairy someday
@@mmdkotetsuth8728 you and me both...
thanks for the info. Was it just mentioned or did the Noisy Fairy actually found the remains of the MS and pilot?
@@icdeadpipol they actually found it. It's a mission and everything, and you get to see the closed casket, with his cap on top.

Oliver deserves better. 😊
3:28 Erm guy, I think John Wick in GM mobile suit...
This is good. It's one of my best UC OVA. It's good as 08 team. At least for me.
One thing that mc quve did right is giving us the engine to fix Zudah problems.
i know this is all supposed to be "haha funny skit"
but i'm sad now.
Same
Char should used Zudah he would become literal red comet.
Honestly one of my favourite in the wider uc timeline
I love this :D
This is so hilariously accurate.
Honestly it'd been better if Oliver died at the end, but I guess he wanted to get the good ending ey.
3d modeling is my passion...
Unpassion it.
I just finished watching MS Igloo it's accurate
You know I didn't mind this one I never saw the anime but I played sd gundam g generation genesis and I know the story overall it wasn't bad
Zudah is the best mobile suit

Zudah-chan, my beloved!
Now ms igloo 2
rip Zudah simp.
And i Though gundam Z and victory was a genocide....
Somehow, this video make cry as hell ToT
Maybe the BGM to good to me XD
zudah Is the best MS
So is oliver to blame for lousy maintenance or is it the designs of the suits that are inherently flawed?😂
