I hate, I mean HATE, how broken this is. I have won numerous national championships with numerous programs so I should be able to get a job at a small school easily. I want to build up a terrible program but get almost no HC job offers.
I just want to thank you for doing this video. I’ve been driving myself crazy trying to get the Auburn job as a die hard fan. Been stuck at ole Miss for years. Appreciate the video and the help!

The trick is when creating a coach the pipeline & alma matter you choose must be somewhat close to the team you wanna eventually control , not the team you start on. Example : if you start a dynasty with Iowa “random team” and choose the North Texas pipeline and Oklahoma alma matter you will be offered the Oklahoma job every single time as long as they lose enough to fire their current coach.
@@hectorpagan2069 the problem was never the fit but that the Louisville job was always open week 1 but not in the top 4. I chose my pipeline as South Georgia because it’s a real life pipeline of both my Alma maters. It doesn’t matter if the school you want isn’t a top 4 job on week 1.
Do you realize it changed your coach from Jason Wyrick to Caleb Bowers when you took the Louisville job? It essentially just had you take control of the coach already at Louisville. I noticed it when I tried to do it. I was at USF. "Marcus Coleman" was at Ole Miss. I moved Coleman from Ole Miss to UNC and took the Ole Miss job. It changed my coach to Coleman at Ole Miss, but also put him at UNC.
@@13Nevitt the thing up in the top right bugs when you have multiple coaches at the same time. Once I sent him to Mississippi state I “retired” and he became CPU controlled again then it went back to my name
Replying now just to say this still worked for me. Rundown below so ppl know why/how it worked... I did the Mack Brown cheese for two full seasons to get him the steep discount on Master Motivator, then created a custom OC (my actual coach build) at UNC. After 2 seasons, followed this video's method and created a new user at the University of North Texas (2 star school) before the third season started. On my first try I simmed normally, not forcing any wins/losses, and after taking a job with the North Texas user, my UNC OC did not get the offer. The offers i did get were all from strong programs so figured I need to have a worse season. So i reloaded save from week one and re-simmed but made sure i did not meet contract goals or make a bowl. This time it worked and i got the North Texas HC offer. I also made sure the alma mater on my custom coach was North Texas, and pipeline was North Texas. Not sure if that matters but it worked for me, so i hope this can help others get the offer they want. Hopefully in CFB26 we can just force it 😂.

Okay, this didn’t work for me. I wanted to finally leave Miami after creating a powerhouse and head to San Diego State (their helmets are sick) but I just didn’t get the job offer, despite making that coach leave. (The job was available in the list, just not offered to me)
@@nathanrasbaugh7873 I eventually left for Oregon State for a few years (a downgrade offer) and then tried this method for USC and it did work. I do occasionally get downgrade offers but just not for the REALLY bad prestige schools it seems.
Alright I am coming back because I may have found a work around. I’ve tested it twice but as long as your coach has the correct pipeline they will be offered the job. For example PSU must be Pennsylvania that’s the only way I got that offer But Oklahoma was not Oklahoma it had to be north Texas so it’s not always their state
@@Thetangibletim there’s a list of all the pipelines on Reddit, I don’t have a chance to look for it right now but there’s a whole spreadsheet dedicated to which pipelines go where. The problem I had is the two schools I wanted to coach were both different pipelines

I tried this with my playthrough. When I got to the end of the second season, the job I wanted was available but wasn't offered to me and was in the "All Openings" section. So this appears to have been patched......
Not true... I did that for about three four season trying to go to my next school, mean while I was winning the natty and having OK seasons... It will say this is a step back or something like that

This does work still but you have to leave the job of the spare coach week one not week two. The job then appears week two. I just got this to work with Michigan State as Western Michigan.
When you go to another school can you get some of your players to transfer with you or am I asking for too much, (I want to get arch manning on Oklahoma)

For some reason they patched this not to work. The absurdity of the carousel almost ruins the game. Why make it hard to do what the you want to do in the game. Just let us play it how we want it not how ea forces us to play it
@@jasonwyrick3413 I simmed 15 seasons trying to get FIU. I set my coach to match all of their criteria (defense, offense type, alma mater, pipeline) and forced a loss on them for every game. Please let me know if you find a way.
This doesn’t seem to be working anymore? Was able to do it on an offline file from around launch but any new file it doesn’t work. Can anyone confirm this is still working?
Unfortunately, it did not work for me moving from Geogia OC to Texas HC. Texas went for another coach. Must have to be an HC instead of an OC to get the HC job?
I did seven seasons as an OC at a really strong Tennessee program and got minimal good offers but took over Middle Tennessee for one season and started getting a ton of good HC offers. I assume the game rewards HC over coordinator hires

So it was an opening for you and just not offered to you? I don't see how this does anything but create an opening. My issue is the school I want is hiring but not offering me the job.
@@usnationalist the job opened up 5 different times and it always came up in the first week. But because they were bad it was never a top 4 job that thus I was never offered. This creates the opening in the second week where the jobs aren’t very good.

I started as DC for UGA and I want the HC Arkansas state Redwolves, and I can’t get it. I tried this trick in the video just now and nope.
