WOW! No question who the best builder was in this derby. Dude came out in a truck that absolutely should not have won and dominated clean undamaged trucks. Unreal. Pack her in and run her again.
All these people in the comments crying about these old iron trucks getting smashed but probably would've done nothing to save them if they had the chance. Some of these trucks probably sat in some old dudes garage until he died and the kids wanted nothing to do with it so they sold it for a quick buck. To those of you who say "I would've saved it!" Then why didn't you? Great video! Yall defenitly derby different in MN compared to NY
Less than 5 mins in and you can tell the red and black truck has some SERIOUS reinforcements in the front end... full speed shots don’t even move the doghouse....
Number 3 makes me sad I own a 66 F100 it could have been used to save others I'm sure it wasn't that far gone go grab a 99 or something for you smash something like that please I'm begging you
Its like they cant help it, addicted to derby- who knows mabey they crudley replaced with patch panels and aftermarket fenders (to make pretty) u never know?
@@DemolitionDerbyMN You pay in usa for a replacement chrome bumper 190$ , in germany i pay 860 € = 1020$ , so its hard for me , to see this waste of material regards Falk
What a shame thempool60s fords best body style ford ever had ..andthey endd there life in a rruck derby ... I love running trucks but those bodys are. Harder to come by every year. Run a shit box 90s chevy or ford i realize them year ford have a strait frame but the truck just running and driving at a mecum auction sell for 2500 to 5k unrestored running driving. Fair condition. Yeah I will have to look back and figure that out, pretty sure they did call it stock, but a bunch had custom bumpers so I would say more of a limited weld class.
This hurts me. Seeing the trucks I like being smashed. No thanks. There not going to be here forever. So there no need to smash them even if there not in the greats condition
@@ns8553 infact I have 2 that I'm restoring and I built one into a mud truck. 80 power wagon, 72 duster and my lifted 86 ramcharger. They trucks could have had another chance just like my 80 power wagon and 72 duster but nope they were destroyed
Those are the nicest looking derby trucks I've seen
My thoughts too .I was thinking ..darn what a terrible thing to do to those classics only because there aren't many on the road ..cars yes ..trucks no
Some of these look better than what I used to drive.
Some do look nicer than what I drive!
I think I drove 1 or 2 of them back in my school days ..that might explain their conditions 😂😂
@@tresfingeros nah, they were just driven by women 😉
lolol like no shit.. lol

sometimes they just stop bending lol
Which one are you talking about
@@DustonEllis24 probably the one that looked like it's ran two or three times before

Damn some of these trucks are probably worth restoring lol especially them fords
Love to watch but hate the destruction of the classics
right- I assume its how they try to get ahead of the other guys- older cars and trucks which usually have heavier metal.
I can't stand to watch.
All those old Ford and Dodge's and you're telling me a 90's Chevy beat them all? I didn't see that one coming.
Luck is part of it in this sport, looked like a late 90s ford to me, tough to tell!
Piss poor building and driving watch Paul Cox run an old ford or dodge pick up. #64 buddy
I've seen some of his videos before
Looks like a 88-98 Chevy to me.
A super duty won
Excellent video, and very well done derby!
They put on a good show.
both Grantsburg, WI shows I went to this year were awesome!

I know, its a bit sad some of the trucks they total!
Paint hides a lot !
The winner deserved it he went hard from the start
you got that right!
The front of that silver ford was stout didn't move when he clobbered that chevy SUV
Derby would of been better if they separated cars that got stuck together and stuck on edges.
💯 agree
Some of those look better than what’s driven around here
Right, I know they had less rust than my 95 dodge!
like that’ silver one with green strips.
Jayce Sutter those fords should still be on the road
one of the best i've seen!!!
I'm old but if I could only crash again.
Talk about whoop ass.
That was Awesome man good show
as ownner of an 1979 dodge d300 i can only say that these idiots destroy many rare trucks and parts.

It’s a shame that these classics are destroyed.
yeah, probably had no floor pans left though.

Watching all the good beds makes me so sad I'm ny most road trucks aren't as clean
I know, same here, MN uses too much salt in winter.
Awesome thanx!!
No problem!
Why would you destroy those vintage trucks? What a shame.
because people are crazy!
No hippies allowed. Go hug a tree. Or maybe a 65 Ford is more to your liking?
Nice
are you from the pine city area?
no, Buffalo, MN
Crazy fun!!!!!!!
Excellent!!
Thanks for sharing!
You bet!
All them nice parts are not so nice now what a shame
some classics getting wrecked
Thanks for the video that was very energenie
Glad you enjoyed it
I see better hits in a Walmart parking lot. Double the area size and make it a paved surface so they can get some grip

Incoherent nonsense
was the #3 for a pretty clean truck, it looked like it- kicked some butt!
I know where Onawa is used to live in Mapleton
The winner was not a stock truck, it is a modified truck, should not be in this class.

It hurt me a little as well tbh. A couple of those old Ford looked like they were super solid. But fuck it, makes the others worth more
So how many of these classics are you currently restoring? You are more than welcome to go hunt them down and buy them just like these guys do

Nobody knows what reverse is for? Don't hit with your front..
Bullshit. It depends on the vehicles. Mopars and old trucks are harder at the front.
Risk of losing a driveshaft real quick
it's hard when you get going to not just want to hit with front or back
Chevy power baby the white truck sandbag most of the day
the white truck was a ford,
