6:45,atleast shut the fuel pump off and putit in park.I know, sometimes you just can not think of such stuff.good call on getting out as fast as you did.
That was a sad display of having the proper equipment to fight a fuel fire glad it turned out the way it did. But could you imagine if the driver was trapped or unconscious cover your children's eyes because that could have easily become ugly
I would like to see an all-Toyota derby. There are so many of those damned butt-ugly things cluttering up our streets and hiways a derby would be a great way to dispose of a few!
Out of the stock heats....this was the best one despite it dragging out to over 40 mins like the other stock ones. This praise still is only good till about 19 mins. After 19 mins the heat, like all the others suck hard.....driving and no hitting. Serious why do people derby if they don't try to hit? Anyway....That is one insane fuel fire. You don't see a fuel repture fire that fierce often.....but that is also the fire department they had there was completely ill-equipped to deal with that.....where is the hose line? Those extinguishers do nothing in a fuel fire like that.
I’m not saying the fire department couldn’t have done better. I’m on both sides of the wall I run derby’s and am a fire fighter. Putting water on it would’ve made it way worse. Needed foam.
The fire guys looked like a bunch of small boys trying to put out a forest fire by pissing on it. Did they give the Keystone Cops firemen's uniforms? What frikking genius failed to provide the appropriate powder extinguishers? Shouldn't derby cars have a master kill switch that stops everything including the fuel pump. Morover it ought to be in the same place so anyone can find & hit it.
Why did the fire department wait so long to break out the fire hose all the derbies I've been to they had the hoses ready to put out the fires that guy lost a shit ton of money and the car started moving on it's own thank the Gods that the 25x car stopped it
@@All4HimRacingVideos oh snap lol well water definitely didn't help it any did you get to see the car after the heat was over I kinda want to know how bad it was
@@stevemalm9502 let me put my half ass opinion on that it must have been a very low grade of alcohol maybe something to take up with his supply source high grade alcohol burns with a very light tent almost invisible or blue petroleum products have that distinctive orange glow with a lot of carbon output as I'm sure you have seen situations where guys didn't even know they were on fire till they started feeling the heat I'm all for running alcohol if rules permit but it would be in your best interest to have a holigon extinguisher on hand

I would like to know who's bright idea it was to have water extinguishers, and not co2, or dry chemical at a derby.
This is 2020 they replaced the fire extinguishers with hand sanitizers.
Best derby I've ever seen in person!
Thank you for the videos!
Not a single one with foam out there. Just spreading the fuel fire with water 💧
We only use foam if the driver tells us
Who ever in that's Zilla car nice driving
Looks like fkn Halloween where someone put a firefighter costume on.
Toby Highley is back!

That no.422 was a bigger sandbagger than I was,mr409.

Rule change #1. Creasing, folding and otherwise modifying body panels to form huge damascus knives should be outlawed!
That’s the difference between professional and rookie volunteer fire fighter... those clowns are beginners. Glad they ain’t in my fire house
This will be a demolition derby fire training video 🤣

That fire department definitely needs some more fire training water on a fuel fire come on guys really
@@donbates2582- Haha 12 small extinguishers too...lol

@@theginganinja-_-7695 usually they have both. No excuse why they should have any though.

Who was driving 422?
That fire department should be sued to say the least.
feel sry for whomever has those fire fighters save them!
I am one of those firefighters we are not allowed to use foam unless we are told to by the driver because it tends to destroy the car
Fire department better go back to the drawling boards
Was this in PA? The Keystone Nationals use to be at Brookville, this does not look like that track.
Yes, but this year was held at the New Alexandria Lions Club due to not being able to host at the normal fairgrounds.
good ole toby highley back in

It was an alcohol fire, which water doesnt help much (as you can see). They should have been ready for it though

@@countrybuck4 honestly it was surprisingly not that bad. At one time I saw pictures on Facebook but can't recall the name.

Water really?
Why the hell do you use water on gasoline fire!!!
Reeeetards!🤪🤪🤪🤪
F500 and that fire is out and not starting again
wtf...lets just stand here with a fucking hose in hand and watch...
Looked like a alcohol fire to me
Lot of sand bagging
Dont be that guy
It’s a heat... I’d be sandbagging too if I had a chance to go to the feature with 10,000 on the line
Water doesn’t work well on gas lol.
